Chapter 1: intro
On a night clear and crisp while the stars shine like candles in a dark room. With a moon so big it threatens to crash into the earth. There stands a stone monolith with its many brothers above a plain of barren rock and sand. Upon the apex of this monolith there stands a lone figure next to a pile of stones. That figure is none other than Arcee, second in command to a small group of beings known as the autobots; a race of autonomous robotic organisms from the planet cybertron. They are at war with another faction of their race known as the decepticons who want nothing short of the complete annihilation of the human race and conquest of the entire universe.
If we get a closer look we see that her forearms, lower legs, waist, and upper body are all covered in angled cobalt blue armor while her upper arms, legs, and abdomen are exposed. Her upper arms and legs are black while her abdomen is silver. And if we look up to her silver faceplate we see two brilliant neon blue eyes below eyebrows of a similar color, same as her helm which has a single horn protruding from almost the center of her forehead. That horn as well as her wrist guards, boot highlights, and the thin plates on either side of her face are all a very bright pink
Arcee's perspective
As I gaze up at the stars I think about cliff jumper, and remember all the great times we had, and how we became partners. I remember the pain and anger I felt when we found out he had been killed by the decepticons. Then when his life signal came back online I got my hopes up, only for them to be torn apart by what they did to him. And how I met my first human civilian; Jack Darby. He's a kind kid and his heart is in the right place, but he's just a burden, another mission assigned to me by Optimus. I just want to get this over with so I can start my search for the one who offlined Cliffjumper and unleash the wrath of Unicom upon him.
I continue to gaze up at the stars for a while until a small object catches my optic as it takes off from the ground and passes in front of the moon. Revealing, in a sudden powerful motion, two massive wings that nearly block out the moon.
"What in the name of..."
Then, with a massive thrust of its wings, it starts flying in the direction of the nearby town, and residence of my charge Jack; Jasper, Nevada. When I finally lose sight of it, I turn to go back into the base, only to freeze when the mysterious being flies by overhead with such speed and power that it knocks me back on my aft. It makes one more fast and graceful pass before vanishing into the night without a trace.
"That was very peculiar to say the least. Maybe I should tell Optimus and see what he makes of this. Perhaps I should also have ratchet scan my neural net for any damage. Hmmm..."
After some more thought I decide to not tell the others summing it up to just a lack of sleep. With that I make my way to the elevator that leads back down into base, but I can't help wondering,
"Was it real? And if so, then what was it?"
