Roxas teleported to the top of the clock tower puzzling over the word "love".
"Hey buddy!" said his red headed friend who was handing him an ice cream.
"Uhm, Axel? Can I ask you a question?"
"Uh-oh... What's buggin' ya?"
"Well,"Roxas started, "This is gonna sound weird... What's love?"
"Hm... It's where two people... they kind of... um..."Axel fumbled.
"Yeah?" Roxas wondered why his friend was having problems telling him.
"It's hard to describe. Here, let me show you."Axel leaned in towards Roxas and planted a gentle yet passionate kiss on his lips, then leaned away. Roxas sat frozen, his ice cream falling out of his grip and splatting on the ground far below. Millions of thought raced through his head. Axel sat there watching Roxas' expression and expecting to be smacked, yelled at, cussed out, or all three at once. But instead Roxas smiled and blushed a little. "You owe me an ice cream" he said pointing down to the small blue mark below them.
"I guess I do..." Axel said while staring at it.
Roxas scooted closer to Axel and leaned on his shoulder. "Xaldin said love makes you vulnerable and weak. I don't see how it does. Obviously you love me, but you're still strong. I'm starting to love you and I don't think I'm weak." He stretched up and kissed Axel cheek to emphasize what he had said."I don't think we need hearts to love, and I think we are fine without hearts."
Axel smiled at this remark. "I agree with you. I'm to used to not having a heart." He put his arms around Roxas and held him there resting his chin on the top of his head. "C'mon. We should start heading back before anyone freaks out about us both being gone."
"I don't want to go back." sad Roxas as he leaned away. "I want to stay here with you."
