The monster had taken her family from her. The monster defiled her, tortured her and taken her.

The monster brought her to a saint. A goddess. The goddess of the faint smile. The goddess of the faint smile with the sad eyes.

Another monster had taken her goddess. This new monster had left her alone. Alone, scared and powerless.

She became the monster. She hunted down the other monsters, slaying them without a hint of mercy.

The monsters led to her to the boy.

The monsters had taken the boys family from him, too. It had left him alone, as well. She felt sorry for the boy, despite it all. The monsters orphaned children all the time, what made this one special?

She left the boy behind, continuing on her never ending quest for revenge. It wasn't long until she found the boy again. She found the boy again and took him in. "If you are good at it, you can come with me as my cook." She had said. Truth be told, she didn't need a cook. She ate once a week, what is there to cook? She just needed an excuse to take the boy with her. The boy was lonely, and so was she.

For once, she was happy. It was the boy, the boy made her happy. She made the boy happy, and that made her feel elated.

She still thought about her goddess from time to time, but she was no longer mourning her goddess. Revenge, still she desired, do not think otherwise. Her sudden happiness did not mean all was forgiven, no, it would never be forgiven.

And so the monsters took her boy from her, as well as her goddess. But this time, the monsters were different. This time, it was one of her own, that forced her to turn her back on her happiness. That, she could not forgive either.

So she planned. She planned and she trained, she trained until her mind and body were weak and dying.

She then set out, she set out to recover her boy. Yes, not 'the' boy, but 'her' boy. He was her boy now, and she would fell any foe that stood between her boy and her.

Captured, she was. Captured and thrust back into battle with the monsters.

So she fought. She fought until all was lost. She watched her comrades die one by one. She watched them die until seven remained.

So the seven planned. They planned and they trained, they trained until their minds and bodies were weak and dying. Seven years passed, the seven of them counting them down, one by one.

Then the time came, the time came for them to set out once more. So set out, they did. Her, she still looked for her boy. Her boy meant everything, and she would be reunited with him, no matter what may happen.

They set out and they faced many a battle, each time miraculously, they survived. They survived to keep fighting, to seek revenge on the monsters for taking their comrades.

But not her.

She fought for her boy. The more enemies she sliced down, the closer she got to her boy. She would not stop searching for her boy, not until the day she died. And even after that, her spirit would roam the world, still endlessly searching for her boy…
