Michelle - 16 years old.

Sleeping pills, no sleeping dogs lie never
Far enough away
Glistening in the cold sweat of guilt
I've watched you slowly winding down for years
You can't keep on like this
Now is as bad of time as any

Michelle took the jar of sleeping pills to her bed and a large glass of water. She started by gulping down a small sip of water to wet her mouth. She thought of how better and how happier Jake would be without her; How she had loved that boy. She knew there was nothing left for her now. The cold sweat of her concious would soon be wiped away clean. As she took out the first pill to put into her mouth, Ash ran in and snatched the bottle and pill from her hands. "Michelle Aimi, what are you doing?!" Ash barked in a sharp, concerned tone.

There, there, baby
It's just text book stuff
It's in the ABC's of growing up
Now, now, darlin'
Oh don't kill yourself
'Cause none of us were angels
And you know I love you, yeh

"Michelle, you realized what you just tried to do, right?" Ash said, sitting on her bed, still in a horrified, shocked state. The girl looked at the bottle in her father's hand and went to grab it as Pikachu quickly shocked her.

Pikachu looked at the girl and started to tear up. "Pipika." Pikachu said as he sobbed at the girl's intention. Pikachu might've been a Pokemon, but he definetely wasn't stupid. Michelle looked up at her father. His sadened expression made the girl burst into tears and grabbed her father in sadness.

"I loved him dad, I loved him so much. I just wanted the pain to end. I'm so sorry." She said as Ash cuddled the girl in his embrace. Ash couldn't believe this. I mean he knew about their break-up, but she had seemed to be doing so well.

"Princess, I know it hurts. Trust me. But that doesn't mean you can do this. If he doesn't want you, he's not good enough for you. Now, calm down. None of us are angels. We can't always get things right. Jake got it wrong." Ash said as he let go of the girl who was still sobing softly, as he looked her in the eyes.

Michelle started to see a counselor for a few months to sort out her feelings. She learned methods to deal with her feelings, including meditation, journaling, and learning to be her own person. Soon she felt genuinely better, especially when her and Jake got back together.
