She sat her dad next to the tree and watched him fall to sleep. It had become a daily routine. Even more since her mother had died. She never asked why. For some reason it just seemed like it would be disrespectful. She also knew that there was a lot to her families past. She just left it at that. Besides her father was old and at his last few years.

"Samantha, dearest could you please leave me here. I need some time alone."

Sam nodded though it was odd to her. He had never asked her to leave.

As she left he began to speak.

Victor looked young again. And a young version of Victor stood near the tree. He looked around and smiled. A young bride came to him.

"My love it is time. I am ready to return to you." Victor said

"Victor it has been to long. Why haven't you visited?"

"I was married. And raising my daughter. But I am done."

"Are you returning to me, my love?"

"If you will take me back."

"Victor what about Victoria?"

"We agreed that I was hers in life and in death I was always going to be yours."

"Then yes I do, Victor."

"Then yes. I will take you back."

"Emil, promise that this is what you want."

Emily smile at him. As long as you are ready to leave it all behind.

Victor looked down at his lifeless older body and nodded. "Samantha will understand."

Emily grabbed Victors hand and they stood together for a while then headed to the afterlife.

When Samantha returned she knew he was gone. She had finished crying why she had stayed away. She walked to her dad preparing to shut his eyes. And as she knelt down to she noticed he was smiling. For the first time since her mother had became ill. But she knew it was not for her mother. She had always known about Emily.
