"Evanora! We're going to be late!" My stepbrother, Jonathan, yelled banging on my door. It's the first day of high school and being a freshman, I'm kind of scared of a senior gang called the Circle and they make a freshman's life miserable. I grabbed my bag and opened the door just as Jonathan tried to hit my door with his shoulder and he fell on the floor. Jace came around and took one look at our stepbrother and burst out laughing. I stepped over him, punched my jerk twin in the stomach, and bolted out the door to the bus stop. The Lightwoods were already there, along with Clary and Simon, who are also twins. Magnus hitches a ride with his older brother, Ragnor. Clary and Isabelle came to stand by me while Jace and Jonathan stood by the rest of them. By the way, just because Jace and I are twins doesn't mean we look alike. We're both tall but the similarities end there. I'm pale, my hair is black and my eyes are electric green. Jace is tan, his hair is blonde, and his eyes are like sunlight. Same goes for the Fairchilds. Clary's short, a redhead, and she has bright green eyes. Not like mine. Simon's tall, has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. Isabelle and Alec look the same, except for the eyes. Isabelle has black eyes and Alec has ice blue eyes.
"Hey, guys? What time is it?" Clary asked, sounding a little bit worried. I checked my phone along with everyone else.
"Ummmm….I don't think we had school today." Simon said a little bit agitated. I saw the date and swore under my breath.
"Oh, well. See yall tomorrow." Jace was about to walk off when I grabbed the back of the shirt and dragged him back.
"Lets go into town!" Isabelle exclaimed excitedly. We all muttered our agreement. Knowing izzy one of us is gonna end up some where we wont even know in the morning.
