Dear Hagrid,
Hey, old buddy! It's been a long time since I've seen you! What have you been up to? Breeding dragons? Ha ha, I remember Norbert. I just wanted to say "hi!" How are you doing? Ginny and I are just fine. So's Ron and Hermione. Yes, we've still stuck together. Isn't that great? Well, I must be going. I'm bloody tired. Write back.
Your pal,
Harry Potter
"My," a low voice thundered, "I haven't seen the Potters in quite a long time!" Hagrid, the giant, chuckled to himself. "I owe them a visit! Well, what better time than today?" Hagrid combed his beard and put his oversized coat on. He ducked through the door. "I have to fix that," he thought.

"Ding-dong!" Harry Potter opened the door. Standing on the Potter's front step was a homely giant holding a dandelion.
"Hagrid!" Harry greeted him excitedly. Hagrid put on an innocent grin. "Ginny! Come see! Hagrid's come to visit!"
"Th' flower's fer ye." Hagrid explained, handing the weed to Virginia Weasley, a lovely redhead. She was in her robe, so Hagrid assumed she had just woken up.
"Why thank you, Hagrid!" Ginny smiled. "So, how have you been doing?"
"Fine," Hagrid answered, though his eyes were somewhere else. "Say, is that yer nimbus 3000 over there?" he asked Harry.
"Yes." Harry answered nervously, wondering what mischievous plan Hagrid had in mind.
"Can I take it fer a ride?" Hagrid asked, hopefully.
"Well, wouldn't you rather ride a better version? Like the Nimbus 5000 A1? Or the Dublus New? I can give you better that that tattered old thing," Harry offered.
"Na, this one brings back memories. May I ride it?" Hagrid asked again.
"Sure!" Harry answered. "Be back by noon!"
The Potters waited anxiously for the giant's return. Finally, they decided to go to sleep.
"G'night beautiful," Harry gave Ginny a quick kiss on the cheek.
"And you, handsome," Ginny rubbed her nose to Harry's.
Click. The lights went out and the Potters were fast asleep.
THE NEXT MORNING.
"Harry! Come quick!" Ginny exclaimed, calling Harry.
"Oh no, not another spider," Harry thought.
"Look! It looks as though there is a crater in our backyard!" she exclaimed.
"Oh, Hagrid," Harry sighed. He saw the puzzled look on Ginny's face. "When lending him the Nimbus 3000, I forgot that he still doesn't know how to land a broomstick."
