Yeah... I can't write extensive gore -_-;

Tsuna's breath caught in his throat as he took in the scene before him. It just couldn't be true. It just couldn't be real… because if it was then Tsuna was just as dead as they were. All around him, his Guardians lay slaughtered. The Arcobaleno, the Varia, the Ninth and his Guardians as well as his Guardians… they all lay in pools of their own blood. The scent of copper seemed to overwhelm him as he took in the scene, bile and hysteria rising in his throat.

"Why did you do this?!" Tsunayoshi demanded, his voice becoming shrill with fear and desperation. It just couldn't be true. It just couldn't be real.

"This is your punishment, Tsunayoshi-kun." Lilac eyes looked down cruelly on Tsunayoshi who was kneeling at Reborn's—his tutor, his confidant, his lover's—side and cradling the lifeless, bloody body in his arms. "You defeated me. You humiliated me… and now I've taken all of that which makes you strong away."

Tsunayoshi sobbed, burying his face in Reborn's cooling neck. His love was gone. His heart was gone. His life was gone all because he had created the perfect scenario. It couldn't be true. It couldn't be real. He didn't want it to be…

…but it was.

And with that acceptance came the darkness that he had kept chained.

"Do you think me weak, Byakuran?" Tsunayoshi asked emotionlessly. "Do you think… that by killing them… you have clipped my wings?"

"Hm~?" Byakuran smiled. "But I have, haven't I?"

Tsunayoshi's lips curved upward. "I assure you, Don Gesso," Tsunayoshi said, his tenor pitching almost low enough to be a rasp. "My wings have not been clipped… and my talons are as sharp as ever."

"Prove it."

And then he screamed.

It was an agonized scream that made Byakuran rear back because it didn't even sound human. Tsunayoshi, who had been so beautiful and vibrant, was turning into something violently dark and savage. It had been what Byakuran wanted… so why didn't he feel happy? Why was it his pulse quickened and his breathing hitched? Why did he feel so… afraid?

There was an insane, high pitched giggle. "What's wrong, Byakuran? Does it hurt?"

Before Byakuran could register what he meant, an intense pain shot up from his knee. A shrill scream escaped his lips as his nerve endings burned in an unholy way as he looked down to see what it was that was causing his pain.

His leg was gone.

"I want to hear you scream!" He shrieked, laughing maniacally as he ignited his hard—no… these were not hard Sky flames… these were…

Oh no…

These were flames as black as the night sky itself—the Flames of Night.

Tsunayoshi was one of the Vendice now.

And Byakuran didn't stand a chance against him anymore.

Owari.
