This was inspired by a conversation with LyricReilly about Cas and the Winchesters' good intentions gone bad throughout the series that got me thinking. And yes, I am unnaturally interested in the Winchesters' guardian angel but with these last few episodes who can blame me? Also, the speaker in this can be seen as anybody really because I was kinda lazy.
Generic warnings to all seasons but nothing super specific. And I still don't own anything other than my guesses about the future.
"Congrats, you're officially part of the Winchester family now."
He turned to face the speaker, blue eyes intently studying. "I don't understand your logic."
"Just hear me out, ok?" The angel nodded acceptance. "You've traveled with the brothers, right? Rode in the Impala and fought both with and alongside them, correct?"
"Yes, but-"
"Helped out on various cases?"
"True-"
"Died for them?"
"Correct."
"Have you done things you regret looking back? Even working with a demon?"
"Of course I-"
"And now you've made a demon deal too. Just like Sam, Dean, Bobby, John... Even Mary and Samuel too."
The angel stood in stunned silence.
"So yeah, you're definitely a part of the family."
