Sweets & Ice Cream

The aroma of strawberry ice cream and chocolate sauce filled the air as Kino Makoto walked in the Aino household with a bag of little candies wrapped in their respective coverings. In the kitchen across from her, she saw her good friend Aino Minako pouring chocolate sauce onto the tantalizing mound of pink ice cream, eyes narrowed in determination.
"Well, Minako-chan, you've kept yourself busy with that ice cream." The green-eyed youth stated with a pleasant smile on her face as she went over to where Minako was and placed the bag on the counter. The blonde girl lifted her head to see her friend standing next to her.
"Oh! Hiya, Mako-chan! I'm just busy with this little dessert I've made. Wanna help?"
Makoto nodded. "Sure." She put the bag aside as she sat next to the blonde on a stool. "So I brought these little candies and I figured maybe you could have them, since you're a fan of sweets." She then chuckled to herself at that fact; looking up to see the sapphire eyes she had always endeared light up.
"Why yes I do, Mako-chan! In fact, perhaps I could use those for the dessert I'm making. Do you think that's a good idea?" Minako asked.
The brunette shrugged and smiled slightly. "Works for me."
She opened the bag and poured out a few wrapped candies, wrapping them and dropping the goodies onto the ice cream.
"This looks good, Mako-chan." Minako commented with a childlike exuberance in her voice.
"It sure does, Minako-chan." The brunette complied. "It sure does."
