A little NaruHina short I suddenly thought of.

Summary: Naruto is tired of never seeing Hinata smile.

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or its characters.

I moved this from one of my old accounts and reposted it here. It's probably one of the shortest drabbles I've ever written, well it was before I revamped it to be longer and a tad bit cuter. Enjoy!

"Hinata-chaaaaaannnn….. Why don't you smile very often?" Naruto called out to the girl sitting beside him on the bench, who blinked in a rather confused fashion. "You look really pretty when you smile." The ebony-haired female could feel her face burn more than one shade of red, already at the ready to fall back at any given moment and faint. Sadly, no such thing happened.

"Um… Well… Uh…" Hinata was at a loss for words. She had just received a compliment from Naruto and she couldn't bring herself to respond, not finding something utterly sweet to say back to him. How she couldn't, she did not know, but it disappointed her that she actually had the nerve to say she had fallen head over heels for her fellow genin. In the same sense, she allowed herself to frown, making Naruto do the same.

"Hiii-naaaa-taaaa-chaaaannnn!" Naruto sounded with that pleading look in his eyes she never could find the heart to resist, forcing a blush as he placing the tip of his fingers on the edges of her lips, forcing her to smile. "Smiiiiileeeee."

Hinata face was red, in fact she could swear her hair was turning an identical shade of crimson. She was shocked she hadn't fainted, or atleast forced herself on him yet. Oh, how she hated herself. She would faint when she didn't want to, but when she wanted to, it wouldn't happen. "H-h-h-hai."

"What're ya stuttering for, Hinata?" Naruto blinked touching his forehead to hers to check her temperature. Hinata felt herself heat up at the contact. Then…

She fainted.

-Several Hours Later-

Hinata blinked, her eyes barely focusing on the white ceiling above her before the moment she had shared with Naruto came rushing back to her. She forced herself to suppress a giggle over the cuteness of it all, feeling as giddy as what those civilians called a 'school girl'. Glancing to her side, she saw a mess of blonde hair lying on the hospital bed.

He had kept her company through her unconscious state. How sweet of him. She knew he was right. She needed to smile more often.

Hope you liked it. I know it was short, I don't care, but did you like it? Review!
