"I hate flu season." Miju complained as she and Mi Sun were walking to the daycare to pick up Ji Yeon.

"So do I. Which reminds me I have to take Ji Yeon to the clinic for a flu shot." Mi Sun said just as they reached the daycare.

Ji Yeon heard her mother's commentas she was playing with some blocks. She didn't know what a flu shot was but it didn't sound good.

The next day they were waiting in the clinic when Ji yeon saw Dil come in with his mom. Dil toddled over and sat down next to Ji Yeon and began building a block tower.

"Why are you here?" ji yeon asked as they finished their tower.

"I gots to get a flu shot." Dil answered.

"I gots to get one too but I don't even know what it is."

"A flew shot is what a doctor gives you so you don't get sick." Susie explained."It's a small need le that goes in your arm but don't worry. It doesn't hurt at all."

"I know what a needle is and I don't like them. They hurt a lot." Ji Yeon said crossing her arms.

"I don't want to get a flu shot if it hurts." Dil whined just as Susie's name was called to get her shot.

"I'm about to get mine and I promise it doesn't hurt." Susie assured them as she went back to a room with her mom.

"Let's get out of here." Dil suggested."They can't give us the shot if they can't find us."

"You're right. Let's go. Follow me." Ji Yeon said as she began to crawl towards a hallway that lead back to the offices.

"What are you kids doing back here?" A nurse asked as she noticed the kids.

"Go faster." Dil yelled.

"I can't walk like you can." Ji Yeon called as she crawled as fast as she could. Not wantingto leave his friend behind, Dil cameover and lifted her up but when he did he fell onto a cart of medical supplies. He saw the lady still chasing them.

"Maybe this will stop her." Ji yeon said grabbing a tube of cold gel and squirting it on the floor as Dil pushed with his feet to make the cart go faster, accidently getting some gel on his shoes. They watchd as the cart continued to roll down the hallway and the lady fell. They watched as nurses and doctors jumped out of the way of the cart, unaware of the fact that two small children were on it. Everyone soon heard a crash and followed the sound to the clinic's supply closet, where the cart had tipped over upon hitting a shelf filled with cotton balls and other medical supplies.

In the waiting room the two mom's noticed their kids were gone and followed the sound of the crash. On the way there they noticed small footprints in the gel that had been squirted earlier.

"Those look like Dil's footprints." Didi remarked. They followed the trail of various supplies to the closet where they found their kids laying in the middle of some warming blankets.

As the two kids were taken back for their shots they passed Susie, who had a purple bandage on her arm and a purple lollie pop.

"Nobody tolded me you gets a lollie pop with a shot." Ji Yeon said as she and Dil were seperated.

"You're giving her the shot?" Mi Sun asked as her sister walked into the room.

"Yeah. We're understaffed thanks to the flu." Miju answered."Did you get yours yet?"

"No I haven't had time." Mi Sun asnwered.

"Well now's the perfect time. You can show your daughter that flu shots are no big deal. I heard about the two runaways on my way here."

Mi Sun pulled up her shirt sleeve and her sister gave her the flu shot.

"See. No big deal." Mi Sun told her daughter, who was sitting in her lap.

Wow. Mommy didn't cry. Mayne the shot won't be so bad. Ji yeon thought just as she felt a little pinch and then nothing. She watched a sher auntie placed a pink band aide on her right arm and soon she had a pink lollie pop to match.

They walked out of the office where they were met by Dil and Didi. Both kids noticed the other's band aide and lollie pop and no tear strinked faces.

"Susie was right. Flu shots are nothing." Dil said as he stuck the lollie pop back in his mouth.
