Peridot waited for Lapis in the barn. Lapis had been gone for the day. She said that she had found something, and went to see what it was. Suddenly, Lapis came into the barn.
"Hi Peridot. Sorry I was out so late, I meant to be back sooner."
"It's fine Lapis."
"So, I'm not sure how no one noticed it before. It looked kind of like an escape pod….." Lapis stopped, noticing that it probably reminded Peridot of Homeworld. "Sorry Peridot… I know that probably reminded you of Homeworld. Anyways, I found a gem. I think you know her."
Peridot now seemed interested in this. "What did she look like?"
Lapis began to describe the gem she saw. "Her gem is on her forehead, like you," Started Lapis, coming over to Peridot and tapping her gem. Peridot backed away. "It has black and orange stripes. Her hair is mostly black with some orange splotches. She's a light orange color, and she has an orange and black striped dress. She has silver leggings and black shoes. Is that a good enough description?" Asked Lapis, turning to Peridot, who was drawing something, most likely the gem Lapis was describing.
Peridot turned the drawing to Lapis. "She looks like this, right?" Asked Peridot.
Lapis examined the drawing. "Yes. That's exactly what she looks like."
Peridot gasped. "Then I know her! She worked with me before….. On Homeworld. Her name is Tiger's Eye. Mainly I just call her Tiger."
"Ok. Well….. Would you have any idea why she was here?" Asked Lapis.
"No, unless it's something for Yellow Diamond."
"It's not. Tiger's Eye no longer likes the Diamonds. She wants to be a Crystal Gem. And she wants to stay with us."
