"Maybe if we loop around here." I drew a circle with my finger on the charts. "And then we come from behind."
Piper flipped a lock of hair out of her eyes. She was so pretty with her hair down. " Yeah, but then we wouldn't be protecting the Terra, like we're supposed to." She pointed out.
"But we'd kick some major Cylconian-" I began.
" I agree with Piper." Aerrow interrupted. "We'll follow her plan." I rolled my eyes. He always agreed with Piper; Even more than me, her boyfriend.
Never made it as a wise man
I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealin'
I watched him smile at Piper stupidly. It made me want to slap him, the way he was with her. They thought I didn't notice.
Like the time when the Condor tilted, and Aerrow put his hands around Piper's waist to steady her. I was thrown halfway across the bridge, but I still saw it. I wasn't sure why I didn't say anything about it.
Tired of livin' like a blind man
I'm sick inside without a sense of feelin
As everyone left the bridge, I grabbed Piper's hand.
"Nice plan." I complimented her.
"Yours was pretty good, too." She said.
"Well, Aerrow seemed to like yours a lot." I tried not to sound accusing.
"I'm the tactical expert for reason." I could tell she didn't want to fight, so I decided not to start anything.
Neither of us said anything for a moment, and I knew our conversation was over.
"I love you." I told her, looking deep into her orange eyes.
"I know." She let go of my hand, but didn't look away. She knew what I wanted to hear.
And this is how you remind me
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
As she was about to walk away, I had an idea. "Do you want to go out tonight?" I asked.
"Uh, I'm tired." She replied, not meeting my eyes.
"You say that every time I suggest we do something!" I exclaimed. I wasn't exaggerating, and she knew it.
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
"Fine." She snapped. "I just don't want to."
At least she was honest. "As usual." I muttered.
"I'm sorry, Finn." It sounded sincere.
It's not like you to say sorry
I was waiting on a different story
(A/N: I know I suck at songfics, but I just wanted to try one. Don't worry, I probably won't put up any more after this one. I'm even not sure if I'll finish this one...)
