" Pearl behind you! Look out!" Hearing Rose's warning Pearl spun around on her only to see a Rudy (Eyeball) stab her in the stomach.

In a flash of light, Pearl reformed. The only change in her outfit was the color and shorter hair.
When Pearl opened her eyes Pearl was engulfed in a hug by Rose and Garnet.
"Oh my stars, Pearl are you okay?!" Rose asked a little frantic.
"Rose. I'm fine." Pearl replied.
"Sniff. I'm sorry Pearl. I just get worried when you get hurt. I don't know what I'd do if a quartz shattered you, Pearl." Rose said.
Pearl was about to open her mouth when a gem came running in "Rose! We need to plan our next move against Pink Diamond."
Rose turned away from Pearl to look at the gem. Bismuth. "I'll be right there Bismuth." Bismuth nodded and ran off the way she came followed by Rose.
"She still thinks that I'm weak," Pearl says sadly looking at the ground,
"You're strong in a different way Pearl," said Garnet.
Pearl looked up "What do you mean?"
"Well physically you are weak" Pearl looks down. " but physical strength isn't everything" Garnet continued " you're smart. Most quartz just follow orders and hit as hard as they can as fast as they can. You don't. You are strong Pearl. Strong in a different way." With that, Garnet turned and left Pearl alone to think about what Garnet had just said.
"Garnet's right. I am strong … I'm strong in the real way."
