Baby Magic

Robin was listening to her mommy and auntie Regina debating in the living room. Words that didn't rightly make sense, but she got as much as it had to do with the evil queen and that her auntie wanted her back inside. The six month old baby made a small sound of dismay, looking at her little bear. It was a brown a black cuddly bear with soft fur, it had a purple bow around its neck. She reached to touch it, smiling brightly at it.

She really loved that bear, because it was cute and cuddly and it made her feel safe. She didn't know why, but like having her mother around she felt safe and comforted by her bear. She listened to her aunts voice she was frustrated now, her mommy was trying to calm her. She sighed, she wanted their attention, having just woken from her nap, but she didn't want to interrupt. She looked at her bear, focusing a bit, trying to do like her mommy did, and without warning she made the bear fly a bit above her, moving it with small hand movements so it looked like it was dancing in the air above her.

She let out a happy squeal that made Regina and Zelena come running into the room. Regina saw the little girl playing with the bear that hung midair, arching her eyebrows she said, "Looks like little Robin has magic, Zelena."

"I can see that, do you think it is dangerous for her?" she said, watching as her little girl lowered the bear, only to hug it close, making some happy sounds.

"I am sure it will be fine, as long as you teach her to use it right," said Regina with a small smile.

Zelena went over to the crib, looking down at her daughter with loving eyes saying, "So you are up, huh, green bean?"

Robin practically beamed at her, making some small sounds, so her mother would lift her up. The not so wicked witch beamed back and lifted her up saying, "You are a little miracle, do you know that?"

She curled close to her mother, making some more sounds, feeling content. Zelena pressed a loving kiss to the top of her head, not knowing if she should feel proud or not that her daughter showed early signs of magic. Maybe it was a one-time thing. She didn't really care though, as she would continue to love her with all of her might, magic or not.

Regina shook her head, looking at them, not being the least bit concerned about it. She knew that her sister would do the right thing when it came her daughter, as she learned that she loved Robin as much, as she herself loved Henry. Speaking of the devil, she heard his ring tone in her pocket and, picking up saying, "Hey Henry, I see, I will be there in say ten minutes."

She hung up saying, "I will call you later, is that okay?"

"Of course, you run along," said Zelena giving her a peck on the cheek. The younger sister blushed a bit saying, "Take care in the meantime."

"Always," she answered, seeing Regina vanish in a sky of purple smoke. She shook her head, sitting down on the couch with Robin saying, "So I guess mommy has to teach you the basics of magic then."

Robin made some sounds before she by instinct started looking for her feeding station, she had just realized she was hungry. Zelena chuckled saying, "Alright food first it is." She led her to her nipple and smiled as her young one feed, slow but steady. A warm feeling spread through her, and she knew it was love, a tear of joy ran from her eye. This, she realized, this was what she always wanted, unconditional love. Someone like her, someone she could teach magic, but for right now she would just watch her eat, watching over her with loving eyes.
