Disclaimer: I obviously don't own Alice in Wonderland, or its characters. Although, I really wish i did ^^
A/N: This fanfic is probably just going to be a collection of drabble-ish things about different tea parties. They'll all most likely be relatively short, since writing 1,000 words on Thackery and Mally messing around could get a tad boring. Anyways, enjoy! ^^
It was teatime yet again in Underland, at least for the trio sitting around a disorderly table by a battered windmill. A dormouse and a hare sat at a tea table, with a white-faced, orange-haired man wearing a burnt top hat, who was looking downwards, seemingly asleep.
The dormouse, who was known to be Mallymkun, took a sip out of her tiny cup. Thackery, the hare, watched her, his eyes bugging out strangely. "YOU'RE LATE FOR TEA!" he exclaimed to a "person" who wasn't there, throwing a cup above Mally's head. He then looked down the utensil next to him, and picked it up delicately, his mismatched eyes staring intently. "Spoon."
The Hatter kept his head down; pretending to be asleep for this tea party. He was waiting for Alice. She was still awfully late, you know. Once Alice returned, the Frabjous day would come, and their tea parties would be in full swing once again.
And, when that day came, he would Futtewacken, vigorously.
Thackery, not noticing Hatter's musings, dunked his pocket watch in the teapot. "It's not ticking." he stated, frowning. Mally giggled.
"That's 'cause you forgot the sugar!" she exclaimed, pushing her teacup back to the middle of its saucer. "Nothing works without sugar."
"Pass the sugar!" the March Hare exclaimed, tugging on his ears with urgency. Mallymkun giggled again, and threw three sugar cubes into the teapot. "That was lovely." Thackery complimented her, dunking his watch again. He let it sit at the bottom. "Have to give it time!" he exclaimed, and both he and Mallymkun burst into fits of hysterical laughter.
This was one of their smaller tea parties. Usually, some of the others would join in, like Queen Mirana, or Chessur. Once, Alice did, too. Only time would tell if any of them would join again, though.
Time, the Hatter mused. Hopefully Alice would come soon, and time would start again. It had been slow, lately. Maybe it was waiting, so that the Frabjous Day wouldn't pass. After all, everyone here was waiting for her.
So, what do you think? Was it good? Great? Horrible? Please review and let me know! ^^
Also, who should join their next tea party?
Thanks for taking the time to read this,
~Mirana
