A/N: In honor of my new laptop, I will write my first fic on this account! I just sort of winged it with this one.
Her white eyes lingered on the woman as she walked past; blonde, blue eyes, beautiful. So familiar, just as perfect, just as unattainable. Ino, she could almost call out, you're just as I remember you! But she doesn't. The fact that she sees her does not mean that she can speak to her. They are still of seperate worlds; nothing has changed.
Hinata had loved her. Loved her more than life itself, and they had been together, that brief fling that she had fooled herself into thinking would last forever. But Ino was only experimenting, she was only seeing if being with a woman could satisfy her. It couldn't; nothing and no one could and Ino was still a free woman, tied to no one, never with one man for long. Hinata was her longet relationship, she had said, and the girl could at least be grateful for that, she supposed. She had satisfied Ino for a little bit, longer than any man had, but it still wasn't enough in the end. She had had her and she had lost her. Here today, gone tomorrow, and Ino had left her to sigh and cry and die all alone forever. And it meant nothing to her for she had left plenty before without a qualm.
And there she was, walking, disappearing into the crowd. If she said something now, if she reached out and touched her arm, if she begged, if she pleaded, if she proclaimed her love a thousand times over, would she come back for good this time? Would she reclaim the girl she loved so very dearly? Would happiness be hers again, would Ino be hers again?
But she shouldn't and she couldn't and she wouldn't and she didn't and Ino was gone.
A/N: I don't really know what that was, I just decided I wanted to do InoHina and I'm sitting in the backseat of the car on the way to a relative's place.
