Natasha was exhausted, yet very happy. A few days she gave birth to the most precious thing in her life, her beautiful baby girl Margaret and it was love at first sight. Steve chose her name since he wanted to name her after Peggy. She took after her father in every aspect; from his eyes to his soft blonde hair. There was no doubt Margaret was Steve's and she was immediately loved by him once he found out about her existence. Natasha never thought she would be able to have a family but thanks from a little bit of help from Bruce and even Tony, her wish came true. She cried when Margaret was born on that rainy spring day and swore she wouldn't let anything happen to her.

It was in the middle of the night when Natasha woke up to Margaret's cries. She sat up and saw the time in bright bold red letters, '2:35 AM'. She yawned and ran her hand through her wild red hair, but just as she was about to get up Steve was already out of bed and down the hallway to see what his daughter wanted. Natasha stayed up knowing potentially her daughter needed to be fed.

Margaret's cries lingered for a few minutes and Natasha sighed as she gathered her footing and went to assist her husband. As she walked to Margaret's nursery she heard her daughter's cries begin to stop; they went from a wail to a whimper and eventually silence. Natasha kept walking and stayed in the doorway once she saw what her husband was doing.

Steve, dressed in a simple t-shirt and his boxers, was sitting in the rocking chair with Margaret cradled in his arms singing to her. He was looking down at her and Natasha smiled as she carefully listening to the last of the lyrics.

Steve sang in a soothing soft voice the rest of the song, "When the clouds will rage in

Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash around
But you will be safe in my arms

Castles – they might crumble
Dreams may not come true
But you are never all alone

Margaret's tears are gently wiped away by Steve and her curious blue eyes stare up at him.

'Cause I will always,
Always love you
Hey I,
Hey I,

Margaret's eyes begin to shut as her father's soothing voice relaxes her.

When the clouds will rage in
Storms will race in
But you will be safe in my arms
Rains will pour down
Waves will crash around
But you will be safe in my arms, in my arms"

As Steve finished, Margaret's chest rises up and down signaling she is fast asleep. Steve gently kisses her on her forehead before slowly getting up and putting her back into her crib. Natasha comes up behind him and embraces him.

"That was sweet. Where did you learn to sing?" Natasha asked.

"My mom used to sing this to me when I was younger and scared." Steve told his wife, "I started to sing it to my siblings since my mom was barely home and I was the oldest."

"Well now I know what puts her right to sleep." Natasha said, "Be ready to sing it again in about an hour." She joked lightly.

"I think next time she'll need to be fed, not sung to." Steve smiled as he joked back.

"Or maybe Marie will need some singing. God knows Tony can't sing." Marie was Tony and Pepper's newborn daughter. Natasha and Pepper got pregnant around the same time, and delivered within a week from one another. A day before Natasha went into labor with Margaret; Tony was complaining how hard it was to put Marie to sleep.

Steve gave a soft chuckle, "I'll wait until he asks. My service isn't for free…except for our little angel." Natasha and Steve make their way back to bed hopefully to get a little more sleep before Margaret wakes them up once again.
