L doesn't know much about love. He's never been hugged or kissed, and he's definitely never had sex. Nobody's ever told him they love him. He feels safer just sitting in front of a screen in the dark, alone. He's used to being alone.
It's never really bothered him before.
But now there's the boy, the brilliant, terrible boy, and L doesn't know how to feel any more.
White
Near isn't interested in romance. As far as he's concerned, emotions are just a flaw, a weakness. He doesn't need anyone to be happy. Near just likes playing games. He's particularly enjoying the game he's playing with Mello at the moment.
Near already knows who's going to win.
Red
Matt hates himself for loving Mello. He knows that his feelings aren't returned but he can't help but want him, crave him until every muscle in his body aches. He's sick of always being hurt, ripped apart and torn to pieces and left broken on the floor.
But, like the fucked-up masochist he is, Matt always comes back for more.
Yellow
Mello doesn't understand love. He doesn't get the obsession Matt has with him, but he appreciates it. He doesn't mean to be cruel, but his pride means he won't apologize, and his anger means he always does it again. Even if it means driving away the only friend he's ever had.
Mello's better off alone anyway.
He also doesn't get his obsession with Near, torn between wanting to break every bone in his body and wanting to smash his lips against his so hard he bleeds.
Either way, Mello will be the one on top.
Brown
Light doesn't do romance. To him, people are just tools and obstacles on his way to victory. Women are easy and sex is meaningless.
The only girl in his life he cares about is Sayu. He never meant for her to be dragged into this mess. He just wants her to be happy, in the new world he's creating for people like her, people with good kind hearts that have never wronged him.
Misa definitely won't be part of that new world.
As for L…No. Light won't think about L.
Gods don't feel guilt.
