I sit up and I am instantly greeted by a fat man with a large
mustache.
"Pleased to see you're awake, Knuckles," he says. I look down at my white gloves and see the spikes coming from them. What are they? I am confused.
"Knuckles? Who's Knuckles?" I ask him.
He smiled and rubs his fat, stubby hands together. "Perfect," he says, pushing me to the brink of grabbing him and asking him what's going on.
My eyes droop closed as I start to feel funny. My head hits the metal bench and I go t
I awake to a strange smell. My eyes open and I see a red-orange substance turning the solids to liquids. It's sweet, beautiful... and dangerous. I can feel a strange sensation on my skin, and my subconscious tells me to get up and move.
I leap off the sizzling steel slab, standing. I see a normal-looking patch of solid, and I rush it. My powerful hand instinctively reach out and the metal falls, separating from the useless burning metals around it.
I see green. Lots of green, and a fresh, clean scent; when I ignore the smell of the place I was in. Yes, was, for I am now running out into the green heaven, enjoying it, not knowing what it was, or where I was.
I see a tall structure of rock way off in the distance, and, with a final glance at the burning metal structure, I run toward the large stone.
I am confused as the creatures before me; the hedgehogs, the humans, everything, everyone...
I wish I could inquire myself, but I do not know. What am I?
I approach a cobalt blue hedgehog and inquire this. "Sir... what am I?" The blue hedgehog stops and drops everything in his hands. Eggs and a milk, and other foodstuffs, scatter.
He stares at me, and pokes me gently in the shoulder, as if making sure I'm real.
