Ze Author: Hiya! I'm getting bored of actually watching the Mummy so now I'm writing a Mummy fanfic. Eheh.
Disclaimer: I don't own the Mummy, the sequel, or anyone for that matter.
"Okay, so the bloke said that that sign represents theater. Good." Alex pointed to the sign on top of the hill, which read Hollywoodland.
"Okay… exactly how far is London?"
"The bloke said it's six thousand miles away."
"SIX THOUSAND MILES? Are you kidding?"
"Go ask him yourself."
"No, I won't. I'm too embarrassed to even be here. What kind of name is Hollywoodland?"
"A name."
"Shut up, Alex."
"It's not my fault you shoved us on the cheapest flight at the airport!"
"I was trying to get us out of London! Your parents would be home any minute and we were supposed to be in Africa when they came home!"
"Well, at least we're somewhere. That bathroom in that one desert place was smelly!"
"Everything in the world is smelly, Alex. Now come on." As they walked down the road, a woman wearing fancy clothes walked by them. She waved a little, and Jonathan waved back, but he soon forgot about it as Alex ran down the road, shouting some words that weren't exactly English, more like gibberish.
"ALEEXXXXXX!" Jonathan screamed after him. When he caught up with his nephew, however, Alex was holding up a painting that looked extremely old.
"A PAINTING?" Jonathan shouted.
"This card on the back says it's worth more money than you can imagine!"
"Give it to me! Now!"
Me again!: Okay, so, well, I could have done better. But I was bored, okay?
