Randall Boggs will proudly tell you he is one of the lead scarers at Monsters Inc. He'll tell anyone that will listen, however, there are a few things he won't share with anyone.
The first is that he is constantly beaten by James P. Sullivan in the race for lead scarer.
The other is that he's lonely. Most of the other monsters he works with fear him as much as the children he scares.
He is seen as a horror to the horrific, scary to the scarers, and a monster to the monsters.
