Title: What Is Important
Author: Davael
Pairing: Chocolove/ Pirika
Rating: K
Author's Notes: What is this? A heterosexual pairing? Oh my. But seriously, I think they would be good with each other. And I have trouble imagining Chocolove with anyone, for some reason. This popped in my head when I was trying to get some sleep, and it wouldn't go away.
I'm not sure if I got the names right, (I used Wikipedia since I was too lazy to check my manga-volumes, bwaha.) Anyway, I plan on using this pairing in my other story, New Blood.
Chocolove McDaniel was a big-nosed, skinny boy who wanted to be the world's best comedian.
Pirika Usui was a noisy and little-sister-like girl who wanted to save Koropokkoro from extinction.
They had big dreams, but whether they came true or not is not important. When they met there were no ringing bells, or singing birds, or even blushes and coy looks.
What was important was that, unlike his easily irritated partners, Pirika actually laughed when he told a joke. It took her a minute, but she laughed just the same.
It made him feel like the world's best comedian.
To him, Pirika´s laughter was like silver bells ringing and birds singing.
And later on, when Pirika told him about her and her brother's dream , he just smiled at her, and said it was a worthy goal. She could hardly believe he didn't give her blank look or arch his eyebrows in sceptical amusement. She felt like maybe, maybe it could all work out.
Besides, his smile made Pirika blush like mad.
Years later, they were older and had worked out all those shy smiles, light touches and funny feelings in the tummy. Chocolove still felt like the world's best comedian, and Pirika still believed in her case. Every day Pirika laughed at her husbands jokes, and Chocolove supported his wife as best he could, and all in all, that was what was truly important.
