Summary:
Hinata held onto the pinkette like no one else mattered anymore.
They were both about to meet an end, yet both of them were smiling.
SAKUHINA ONESHOT! Character death, T+
Sakura demanded the hug be tighter, as she buried her face in the Hyuuga's shoulder with a large sob.
There was no getting around it. Both of them had accidentally drunken the poison in that tea.
Any minute now, their time would be up- and everything they did up till that moment would be in vein.
Hinata allowed the pinkette's grip to tighten around her waist, as she closed her eyes, listening to Sakura's last tears.
Hinata couldn't even bring herself to quiver in fear. Her body was too numb, she felt weak and her throat was burning.
"Sakura…" Hinata whispered softly.
Sakura let go of her friend, and gently looked into the pale eyes before her.
They showed no fear, only pain.
"No, no. I can't let you die with that frown on your face Hinata." Sakura thought aloud- drowsy from the poison.
She'd never actually noticed how beautiful the Hyuuga was before this moment.
It just made her want to…
Sakura lifted Hinata's chin- closing the large space previously between them.
Hinata didn't even have a response for the action- as it was over far too quickly for her liking.
"What are you doing?" Hinata mumbled- her mind in a different place.
"Kissing it better…" Sakura muttered, breathing heavier.
"It still hurts… please do it again…" Hinata whispered, surely ashamed for asking.
The green-eyed Kunoichi leaned forward again, pecking Hinata's lips again.
Then… The two just sat there, slowly fading out- as they smiled at each other.
"It… still hurts…" Hinata whispered before collapsing on the forest floor.
With the last of her strength, Sakura placed herself on the Hyuuga's stomach.
'Never' Sakura thought. 'You'll never be in pain again, because I'm here to kiss it better.'
