It was early morning and the members of Organization XIII were just awakening as a few staggered out to the kitchen for something to eat, or some caffeine to help them awaken to start another day. Only the youngest members were ever late for breakfast, this included several. The two that were always the last to awaken and drag their forms out of bed were Axel and Roxas. There was talk among a few of the eldest members if this couple of nobodies were more than just friends.

It would so have it, that these two were usually up most of the night making the most noise and there had been several complaints of foul play and practical jokes. These were mostly done on Vexen. It was not ever mentioned why. Something to do with how high pitched the scientist's voice became was always leading some of the others to snicker.

Today was no different, there the two nobodies staggered out, blurry eyed and yawning in pajamas. Roxas immediately went about getting a bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice in silence. Axel heated some oat meal without ever using the stove or microwave as he sat down with his own glass of O.J. They ate in silence.

It was noted that there were dark circles under both sets of eyes, and the silence was almost unnerving from the flame-ridden being. Roxas came as no surprise, that one was naturally quiet. Axel, however, grabbed the attention of the other blonde currently in the room, Demyx.

Demyx watched the two for some time and started to note that they would slump over their bowls every now and then. Blinking, he ate his small bit of a fish biscuit that he made special and got up early to do, and this nobody watched his comrades a little more closely. It was a wonder the two could hold their heads up at all. Soon, Axel reached for his orange juice and took a lazy sip, setting it back down.

Roxas had not looked up just yet as he finished his cereal and soon grabbed the same glass to chug a little down. The being that held water as an element giggled soft and kept watching as the fellow blonde put the glass down and got to his feet to grab another bowl of cereal.

Axel, not seeing what had happened, soon gulped down the rest of that one glass of orange juice and he stood up to stretch.

"Mm. Roxas, we aren't going to China ever again. It's fun, but…the fireworks were dull."

"Yeah. I agree." Roxas soon sat down to eat more and the firey red head looked over to see Demyx with a tilted head. The blonde was beaming and giggling.

"What's up?"

"Nothing…" He started to laugh and Roxas turned to gaze as well. That was the only time Demyx would crack a grin at the two best friends.

"You guys just shared a kiss!"

"A what…" It must have been too early for the youngest in the room's mind to start turning as he looked up at Axel.

"Yep! You two just shared a kiss." Axel raised an eyebrow.

"Um…Demyx, hate to tell you, but he's my best friend." Roxas nodded to that and the sitar wielding nobody nearly fell out of his chair with a fit of giggles.

"Not anymore. You two shared a glass of orange juice!"

Axel's palm of his hand hit his face as he looked at Roxas once more. The nobody was bright pink with a blush. Soon, the red head started to think it was a bit cute. It was no small feat that after that day, the two of them became more than just comrades. With the help of Demyx, they discovered they would soon share more than any other being of darkness would ever know.

…The largest bit of citrus every night as they shared each other's bed.

Ending Thoughts and Author's Notes: I am not too fond of this pairing, but I could not pass up the opportunity to write a one shot for them. And if anyone gets the "citrus" joke, it's called something you use to make lemonade.
