Chapter 1: The Beginning

A/N: This story is in an AU or possible reality, after the catch the main antagonist.(Not telling who though, don't know if you haven't finished the game or anime yet.) Main pairings: KanjiXNaoto. Slight pairings: SoujiXYukiko or Rise, YosukeXChie. Also I'm NOT A PERV FOR WRITING CERTAIN PARTS ALRIGHT!

Kanji was running. He looked at his phone's clock. 5:15 P.M. Fuck I'm late! Kanji mentally slapped himself and ran even faster. Dammit of all the days I always late why now of all fuckin days! Anger making him faster made brake into a superman sprint. Dammit Rise why do you always do this to me!

FLASHBACK: 3 days before the dance...

The gang, minus a certain blue haired detective, where eating at Aiyas after school. While everyone else was talking Kanji was too focus on eating to hear anything. When he finished he heard Souji ( yeah I decided to revert to Souji. Narukami took too long to type. I'm a lazy ass.) say "alright it's settled"

Kanji puzzled asked " What's settled?" This caused Rise to bounce over. "Why the school dance that's happening in three days Kanji- kun. Don't you ever pay attention in school." Rise said smiling dreamily, probably having thoughts about Souji and her dancing.

"Oh that... I'm not going." he said simply. "WHAT!" Rise screeched so loud it would put a banshee to shame. Everyone looked at her wondering why she screeching so loud. "KANJI NOT GOING TO THE DANCE!'" Rise suddenly announced.

"Hey what the hell. Are you trying to embarrass me ?!" Kanji asked murder in his eyes, but a slight redding on his cheeks. "I'm not going 'cause I ain't got no one to go with." Kanji said sighed. Every time there was a dance he wouldn't go because he wasn't able to dance. The problem was that no one would go with. He would always stand by the side like an unwanted decoration.

"Oooo... Din't you hear sempai?" Rise asked with a smile that could chill his blood. "You're going with Naoto." At this Kanji spit his water all over Yosuke.

"Dude what the hell !" Yosuke yelled now wet.

"S-sorry sempai." Kanji said quickly. Then to Rise he asked "what do you mean I'm going with Naoto." His face was starting to go even redder from even the smallest thought of Naoto.

"Well I'm going with Souji and Yukiko. Yosuke is taking Chie. When he said that Chie was yelling and Yosuke was day dreaming." Rise said.

"Okay what did he say about me?" Kanji asked.

"Well he said your going to pick Naoto." Rise said with a smile. At that Kanji's face turned into a red pepper.

END FLASHBACK

Now three days later Kanji is sprinting towards Naoto's house... in formal cloths he made. At least it's not raining. Kanji thought. When Kanji finally got to Naoto's house, he was flabbergasts. The damn house was huge. Holding back his surprise he marched up to the door and that how far he got before the door suddenly opened and Kanji was suddenly inches away from Naoto, and he couldn't believe what he saw..
