Dear Mattie,

Hello!

Yes, yes I know this is odd. Please bare with me though, poppet. I will try not to ramble on too much.

I simply wanted to thank you for being so kind. Perhaps it's your Canadian nature, but the point is that I can always count on you.

Honestly, I know I make life hard to tolerate. It's simply my nature, love. I cannot help it, and although I always get under everyone's skin (Sometimes quite literally) you are one of the only ones who never really snap at me. You see if it were Allen, he would almost certainly lose his temper. We both know that.

Again, I know I can be a burden and as Al describes it… I am a "Bucket of rainbows and sunshine with cute bunny carcasses in the heart and a few screws loose in the brain." I don't quite understand if that's an insult or a compliment…

I suppose what I am saying is… Well, I am quite fond of you. No, not in that "like like" way you badgered me about before. You are my brother and I thought I would let you know that I appreciate it that you're around.

You are a fantastic friend and I hope you will join me soon to bake some cupcakes. I promise to be good.

And by good I mean I won't use you as the special ingredient.

… I didn't have to specify, did I?

Oh, well. You're a good boy, Mattie. I am quite proud of you and I am so glad you grew up so well. I truly believe you are what keeps our twisted little family together. (I believe that even Allen agrees. Don't tell him I told you that, though.)

Oh look at this! I knew I would ramble. I'm sorry, poppet. He he~

Well, I suppose I'll wrap this up.

With love, your big brother,

Oliver 3

P.S.: Ohh! I gave your counterpart a cupcake this evening and he was oh so kind in his compliments! I promise you don't have to hospitalize him. The pastries were good this time.

This time.

P.S.S.: Do you remember this photo? Of course you don't. I never knew it existed either until that Japanese fellow presented it to me. I believe he said it was taken last month before we left to go home after the last meeting. I was quite sad because I knew we wouldn't be able to spend much time together for a while. I hugged Allen too, but no one could get a photo fast enough. It would have been a blur, for he just shoved me aside. He can be so rude! Anyhow… I was given this when I visited Japan this week. He loves taking pictures, and I'm glad he does, honestly. And as much as I like this one I'd prefer it if you had it.

I'll see you again soon, poppet.
