Drake walked downstairs very tired. He had stayed up all night im-ing
Sarah about there next date. Drake and Josh were now 17 and Drake had
finally started to go steady with girls. Josh had broke up with Mindy 2
weeks ago. He was now going out with Brooke. Yesterday was their
first date. It was summer break. Children were outplaying and Josh was
at the movies. Drake stayed home eager to get an im from Sarah. He
went over to his desk and got his laptop. His laptop was silver and had a
black stripe running down the middle of it. He opened it up and signed
into im. Dustin was on. Dustin had been his friend since 7th grade. He
got and im from him.

Drake got off the laptop. He went over to his bunk bed and lied down.
He had a lot of things on his mind right now. He pulled out his diary.
Drake had started a diary when he was 15. He started writing.
July 12, 2006
Dear diary,
Today has been a pretty normal day. This morning something weird
happened. I started to think of my dad again. It was pretty strange.
Right now Josh is at the cinema and Megan is at oboe practice. Mom
and dad are gone for the weekend on a cruise. Josh is supposed to
pick up Megan in an hour. In 30 minutes I got to go get ready for my
date with Sarah. We are going to her house to watch a movie.
Drake
He closed and locked his diary. He got up and took a shower. He let the
warn water slowly wash down his body. He got cleaned up and got in
his car. The whole way there he was thinking about his old dad, Cade.
He walked up to her door and rung the doorbell. She answered. It was
just Sarah home. Her parents are gone for the weekend in Ohio. Her
brother, who is 19, will be home at 3 am. They went in the basement
and turned on the TV. They watched witness. During the middle part of
it Drake and Sarah started to make out. Sarah got on top of Drake and
they continued to make out. 5 minutes later Sarah fell asleep on top of
drake. Drake fell asleep too. Her brother came in there and cut off the
movie. He covered them up with a blanket and they slept there for the
rest of the night.
