Dark Ramblings

Till we meet again my love
I will watch my dreams for you
I will smile and laugh
I will hold joy in my heart
For you will I do this
I will remain true to what I hold most dear
The times that I have held you near
Oh fire that feeds my soul and mind
Hatred that burns brighter still
Greedy for what I can not have
Be glad my heart that you are not here
I know not what I would do
I know not what I would give
Perhaps it is better that you remain away
Away from the darkness that is I
Away from the cruelty so many find
You are too pure and bright
Like a lone star that twinkles happily in my dark life
With longing I will look upon you
Knowing I can never touch your heart
Knowing I will never taste your lips
Or feel your body press close
All I will have are fine words
They scorch this very page I write upon
Ink runs like life's blood and hot desire
They speak when I can not
Give in where I will not
Show what I long for
Even now the bitter sweet though of you makes me tremble
My knees buckle and my loins burn
I reach for you but you never see it
I whimper but you seem not to hear
I curse the Sun with its sweet light
It makes me leave you
Forces me to run
To hide in the dark unfulfilled
Like a wounded animal
My longing festers and burns
Because I am incomplete without you
Yet forced to live on with-in
To feed upon my love and hate
That is the only thing I can do
And hope that it gives me
The needed strength
To rise up one day
And reclaim you
