Chapter One
Disclaimer: None of these characters belongs to me, except for maybe Riley. Other than that, this world is from the brilliant minds of Cheryl Heuton and Nick Falucci. No money is being made from this. Trust me when I say that.
Special Agent Riley Black strode into the Albuquerque office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, or FBI, on a sunny Tuesday morning. After flashing her badge to the security guard at the door, she proceeded to her desk, where she promptly swiped the huge stack of files placed there into her arms and marched to her boss' workplace. Smirking, she plopped the whole pile onto the small clearing on his desk, and walked back to hers.
The petite, black-haired woman had only been sitting down for just a few seconds when a loud booming voice rang out in the busy room. "Riley Black, why is there a stack of files sitting on my desk?!" The woman in question swung around in her chair to face the questioner. Her boss stood there, his hands on his hips and looking very serious. Just then, a grin broke out on his face. "Good morning to you too, Don," Riley replied.
A/N: I was fiddling around with a plotline in my head, so I wanted to post this on here to get some feedback from you guys. So, do you guys like the writing style and would you be interested in reading an actual story like this. Review please!!
