Vampire Kingdom
Chapter One
The rain hit the ground at a steady, peaceful pace. I walk into the village, biting my lip. This is a small place... I think. My name is Christopher Palmer, I came from England. I have blue eyes, black hair, and are 19. I walked up to my new house. It's small, a kitchen and a living room, and the upstairs is a bedroom. I go upstairs and set my backpack down on the desk. I pull out my phone and dial my moms number. It rings for a second, but she picks up. "Hey, mom" I say. "How was the plane trip?" She says. "Eh, bit of turbulence" I say. "Bye!" I hang up. I walk up to a window. Across the way a neighbor gets home from work. I walk down to the kitchen, and brew a cup of coffee. I sip it slowly. The rain stops a hour later. A loud cracking sound comes. I hear screams and people running. I like look outside and see what it is. Creatures with black wings and pAle faces are chaining and whipping people. I look there, stunned. Then someone runs at me. I'm yanked from my porch, and handcuffed to a light pole in the middle of the town. I am then stabbed in the neck with a needle. I immediately fall unconscious.
Chapter two
I wake in a long, stone room. There is little light, and I am sitting down by a wall. Other people are to the left and right of me, some awake, some not. I look for a door. I see a metal door, with a keypad attached to it. I try to get up, but I notice I am handcuffed to a bar behind me. The lady to the left of me awakes, frightened. "Where are we!" She yells. She starts thrashing, trying to escape the handcuffs, her face turns red. "Calm down!" I say. She look at me, worried. At that Moment, the creatures walk in through the door. "Everyone listen up!" One says. The prisoners all look up. "So where gonna test you on a few things, to figure out if we need you." The other says. "The first test will commence shortly..." He says, and walks away. The doors shuts, and people immediately scream. The test will commence shortly... What could it mean? Before I can decipher it, a shock of electricity blares through the handcuffs. "AAAAUGH!" People scream. The first pain is in my head. I hear more screams, as the test happens. Then the handcuffs disable. Everyone slowly gets up. I notice that the door is open. "Look!" I say as I run through it. The hallway branches off twice. I go left twice. I then take a elevator to the top floor. I see creatures and they stand and look at me. Why aren't they doing anything? Then I stop. My lungs feel like they are filling with water. I know this is part of the test. They want to see how far we will get if we have a chance to escape. I notice I'm in a control room. Cameras are viewed on multiple computers. I look at them. People are spewed across hallways, and I fall to the ground. The electricity hurt my brain, it must have put in some virus, to make me feel sick. I look around, then fall unconscious.
Chapter Three
I scream as I wake up. I am I. The same room, handcuffed, but there are less people- and the handcuffs are looser. I pull out my arm. I look at the door again. Locked. A speaker sounds "okay. So we have a few less people. Why do you think we're doing this?" It says. "Answer, we want to figure out who would make a good night wing warrior." He says. "Next test!" He says. A Nightwing walks into the room. He holds a dart gun. He shoots at us. I shut my eyes and think. What's in the darts... I can't figure it out. I look up at the man, who is now four feet away from me. I jump up and punch him in the gut. He tenses just for enough time for me to take his gun. I shoot him with a dart. He falls unconscious. I run for the door but it shuts. Another man comes through the door with a pistol. I jump at him, and he shoots. I shoot at him with the darts, and miss. I reload as he shoots my side. He then pulls out a needle and jabs it into my neck.
