They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul. But sometimes, you can't see through the glass.

Pools of crystal.
Shifting, shimmering, shining.
Pools so captivating.
Pools so beautifully blue.
They beg you to believe
what's on the surface.
Captivating, compelling, convincing.
But, behind those lying eyes
lays the truth.
Such a beautiful lie they are.
The secrets lay behind those lying eyes.
The pools tell you
everything's okay.
They tell you the pain
has never been,
but behind those lying eyes...
Nothing's okay,
everything's wrong,
and the pain has always been.
The secrets lay behind
those lying eyes.
But, they are such a
beautiful lie that no one will ever see
the truth behind those
beautiful, beautiful
lying eyes...
Those lying eyes
hide everything,
and the truth behind
those lying eyes.
