Merlin and Arthur had spent the entire evening preparing things for their eldest son's wedding. He had been crowned prince half a year ago, just a few days after his 21st birthday and after a long discussion between the three of them they had decided that their son, Eric, would marry his long time partner of two years, Maria.

Maria was a sweet young girl, and the complete opposite of Eric. Whereas Eric had dark hair and dark blue eyes, Maria had bright blonde hair and bright green eyes, whereas Eric is loud and outgoing Maria is shy and not outgoing unless with Eric.

But together they were perfect and Merlin and Arthur were both very happy for them and even more so that they were now going to get married and that they might have grandchildren in the near future.

Only one thing remained that had to be done. They needed to give Eric "the talk" since they did want grandchildren and wanted their son to know what he was doing, Merlin and Arthur didn't on their first time, it was awkward, took a long time and was painful, even more than it should have been, for Merlin.

They knew that their son would disregard their help and information and it would be awkward to talk to him about sex and children and the fact that they would more than likely have to involve their sex life and how their first was not very good and they didn't want their son to go through the same thing with Maria.

Each of them would talk to Eric separately. Arthur would speak to him first about the male side of things and the main talk and then the next day Merlin would speak to him about the female side of things and anything concerning Maria. They just hoped it would go well.
