(Agate)
I woke up, on the ground. I looked to my right, where my friend, Larimar was sleeping. To my left, there was a kitchen. Across the room, there was my other friends; Orange Topaz (I call him OT), Pink Sapphire, and Gypsum. I got up, and within a moment, OT woke up.
"Who's there?" He said crankily, grabbing a crowbar to his right.
"Just me, Lari. It's fine, just getting up to eat." I responded. He layed the crowbar down, and I went into the kitchen. I started making a salad, even if it was breakfast. Pink Sapphire got up and started helping. We both made food together, but he was usually assissting me. He was more of a fighting guy. After a few minutes, we finished the salad. I grabbed a pot and a pan and smashed them together, waking everyone up. As they came to the table, they started eating. Gypsum picked off the black olives, and ate them. I picked a few for myself.
"So, everyone. Let's try to clear out the swamp. I saw some monsters last night, killing a few people, along with another gem patrol. They tried killing me, but luckily Pink saved me, but took an arrow to the arm." We all looked at him, looking proud.
"I actually did something useful!" He blurts out. I chuckle.
"You always do something useful." I kind of feel happy for him, saving someones life without killing a gem...for once.
"Me and Gypsum will take the left side." OT and Gypsum ran to the left side.
"Ok then. Larimar, you take Pink to the right side, and I'll bait the monsters. Got it?" I asked. Everyone nodded.
As soon as we got to the swamp, a monster was there, eating people. Blood was staining the leaves and grass. I saw Pink almost barf.
"Ok, assume formation and go fast." I said. Gypsum grabbed OT's hand and raced ahead. Pink and Larimar went to the right. I took the middle.
"Time to take the bait." I ran to a monster, summoning a sword. I slashed at it's arm, but it let out a big roar and punched me. I saw Larimar coming from above. He held a boulder, and crushed the skull of the monster. He bubbled the gem, and sent it away.
"I can't find Gypsum or OT. Let's go." I said. We ran, and later on that day, Gypsum and OT came back with some food.
"Dayum son! Lotsa foods!" Pink was excited. I was tired, and Larimar was strong. I ran into the bubble room and saw the perfectly shaped square gem bubbled. I was relieved. Larimar was strong, but had some difficulties with bubbling, like OT. We were prepared for anything at this point. We were trained, and prefectly armed.
