Another Thomas rewrite, this time it's "The Fogman" from Season 6, with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.
It was winter on the Island of Sodor. Fog had rolled in from the sea, making it very hard to see.
Thomas and his coaches, Annie and Clarabel love traveling to Misty Valley, where's it's always hard to see.
However, Thomas must be careful of rocks that roll onto the tracks.
Cyril the Fogman makes sure that the rocks are off the tracks, and places alarms on the tracks, so that engines can be warned about fog.
But that night, Sir Topham Hatt came to Tidmouth Sheds to make a big announcement.
"We are going to test out a new foghorn." said Sir Topham Hatt.
Sir Topham Hatt turned on the foghorn.
The noise was so loud, it was heard for miles.
Percy had to stop his eyes from spinning before he could speak.
"That's way too loud!" he exclaimed.
"Indeed!" replied James.
"It sounds like those tugboats out in the harbor to me." said Gordon.
Thomas was worried.
"What will happen to Cyril?" he asked.
"Cyril will no longer be needed" said Sir Topham Hatt. "This new foghorn will be more reliable."
Thomas was upset.
The next day, Percy was cheerfully puffing through Misty Valley, when the foghorn sounded.
"Bother that new foghorn!" said Percy.
"We must slow down though." said his driver. "There's fog ahead."
The foghorn was so loud, it made the hillside shake.
Then, it happened. Rocks began to fall, and soon, it covered the tracks, breaking the foghorn in the process.
Thomas was puffing across Misty Valley, when the fog rolled in.
"I can't see a thing!" said Thomas.
But soon enough, disaster struck! Thomas became derailed when he hit one of the rocks.
"Bust my buffers!" exclaimed Thomas. "What happened to the foghorn?"
The driver went outside to survey the damage.
"It broke!" he exclaimed. "But we must warn Toby. He should be coming down the line any minute."
"Leave it to me!" said a voice from the fog.
The voice was Cyril!
Thomas was so happy to see his old friend again!
And sure enough, Cyril was able to stop Toby from crashing just in time!
Sir Topham Hatt came to see Thomas after he was back on the rails.
"I have decided to bring back Cyril." he said.
"Thank you sir!" said Cyril.
Everyone was so happy, that they cheered!
