She was gone so quickly that I had not had time to reply.

I stay in front of the car. Staring at the skyline that I saw as my daughter away in the distance.

She did not want to leave Seattle, I had known of the moment I had him speak. But curiously she had accepted. Something told me what would accept anything from me.

Yet we do not know, or very little. But we were like, identical. I was the only family he had left.

- "Sarah ..."

I did not have to look back, to know the identity of the person who stood behind me.
The last time I saw him, Michael Cassidy was 5 years old. He was a shy and reserved boy who often hide in the skirts of his mother.

I turned to face him, I could see that he had changed. He was a young man now.

A young man has the remainder of a very old organization.

- "For a long time ..." I whispered as I turned to face him.

He seemed ill at ease, without doubt he would have wanted to be elsewhere, or not!

- "Not enough revenue to be ... why?" He asked as if he did not already know why.

- "It seems that Seattle was missing ..." I retorted with a smile.

- "You know I can not let you do ... you can not take him ..." he continued as if he had not heard me.

I knew what he meant, or rather whom. I knew that this time it was too late anyway. There was no departure possible.

- "What do you expect it?" I asked him rethinking the description he had done with Jessi. She looked like me too. He could not trust him. He had a word for this: broken.

- "It is related to Kyle ..." he replied, beginning to advance towards me.
I felt no fear overwhelm me. I waited for this moment for too long, for fear now.

All those years away and I had myself to throw myself into the lion's den.

But I had not done for anyone. I'd do for Jessi. Even if hope was low, I wanted to believe.

- "You've always regarded its establishment as a mistake ..." could not I help him out.
I saw him smiling at me kindly. He knew I did not try to save time. I really wanted to know why Jessi was suddenly so important to them.

- "It is a mistake ..." approved there. "But he would do anything for her and she would do anything for him ..."

I knew then they would not hesitate to use their relationship.

He was not interested in Jessi, but it would be a good way to get Kyle to do what they wanted.

It was horrible, monstrous! But I could not do anything. He knew it and that was why he had agreed to meet me.

- "These are not toys, but human-beings ..." I whispered in a voice serious rethinking is Jessi.

She had to drop everything to find Kyle, when she perceived that he was in danger.

She would regret her decision when she will realize what had just unwittingly destroy our only chance to flee.

- "These kind of thoughts that you have led at your loss, but you seem not to have understood ..." he said visibly frustrated. "They are much more than human beings-they have such potential, such knowledge ..."

- "You think you can manipulate them as you see fit?" I sneered.

- "We already do ..." he replied, grabbing my arm, bringing us to the entrance of the building.

I probably approve of Cassidy leaving me back to my apartment.

But I liked to believe they would find a way out. They would not let Latnok destroy their lives, as they did with me and Adam.

I felt the knife had pierced me instantly and I heard the little boy I had apologized.

So I let myself fall to the ground, in a groan of pain. I was surprised to have mercy on him.

It was just a pawn of Latnok.

My last thoughts went to Jesse. I discovered it, a wonderful young woman.

I hoped that forgive myself for failing to my promise.
