"My head... Where am I?" I stood up in a field of snow covered grass. I felt a chill as I took a step closer to the cabin in front of me. Before I opened the cabin door I was startled by a bloodcurdling scream, which sounded as if it came from inside. I twisted the handle on the door. But it would not budge. I slammed my body into it and it immediately fell down. I looked around the dark cabin, and saw what looked like a person. I crept slowly towards them, and as I did I caught sight of the horrid view. Her hair was tangled in knots, as if something grabbed her from the top of her skull. Her right cheek was scratched by what looked like a bear. Her chest was bleeding out through a gaping hole, which looked as if she was brutally stabbed. And her eyes looked like they were dug out by something. What could have done such a horrible thing?
I left the cabin, after examining what happened, and decided to go and fetch Barbas, to aid me in finding out who did this and what brought me here. He stood up from where he lay as I climbed atop my horse. "What did you find in there?" Barbas asked me. "Probably one of the most gruesome things I've ever layed eyes on." I replied, as I turned the reigns. "Oh? Didn't know my mother was in there. HA!" I shook my head at his attempt to make a joke and fled through trees in hopes I find the murderer of the woman in the cabin.
