There are going to be changes to this story in the rewrite. Not everything will be the same as it was before. These changes are going to make the whole story flow a lot better so just bare with me on this.

A woman with curly blonde hair and bright blue eyes sat on a plane in first class. She wore a golden robe that hugged her curves much to the pleasure of the men aboard the plane, a gold circlet in her hair that a single sapphire jewel in the center, and a pair of silver slippers. In her arms she held a small child barely a year old. The child she held in her arms was a boy that had stormy gray eyes that stared up at her with much curiosity and a bit of white hair on top of his head.

This woman was the Seraph Gabriel. One of the leaders of Heaven whom had answered the prayers of a woman who had asked her to find the child currently in her arms a good home to live in. Gabriel had taken the small child from the woman and the next thing she knew the woman who had given her the child simply disappeared after that. Almost like she had never been there. He had been wrapped in a blanket with the name 'Mitsu' stitched into it.

Gabriel had managed to find a family in Japan that was willing to take Mitsu into their home. She had to fly from America to Japan using the human method of flying. She had purchased first class tickets to be able to provide the child some comfort on the flight to Japan. She didn't want to risk the child's life by teleporting. He was still so young and his small frail body wouldn't be able to take the teleportation sequence.

Gabriel watched as Mitsu played with the cross around her neck and she couldn't help but smile at the small child's innocence. That smile slowly faded as she thought hard about why this child was given up so easily. The only thing she could think of was that he was in danger and needed to be hidden. She was so lost in thought she never noticed Mitsu's gray eyes glow purple for a split second.

A few hours later she found herself standing in Kyoto's airport searching for an exorcist that happened to be friends with the family taking Mitsu in. She traveled a bit towards the main gates where she saw two men standing at the entrance. One of them wearing an exorcist outfit that resembled a priest's robe and the other wearing more casual clothing. Both men held children in their arms that were thankfully asleep. The exorcist had light brown hair and violet colored eyes. Gabriel could tell the child he held in his arms was without a doubt a girl based on the pink blanket that was wrapped around her.

The other man had light brown hair, and dark brown eyes. He wore more casual clothing than the man standing with him. A button up blue shirt with khaki pants and black sneakers. Gabriel guessed the child he held in his arms was a boy. She could only guess since the color the child was wrapped in was red.

She made her way over to them. The exorcist noticed her first and was about to bow but she quickly shook her head. She didn't want too much attention to be drawn to them. Plus he would have woken the child in his arms if he tried bowing to her. She stopped in front of them causing both men to look at her. "Touji Shidou. I thank you for assisting me." Gabriel said with a smile and turned to the man next to Touji. "You must be Mr. Hyoudou? I thank you as well for accepting this child into your household."

Mr. Hyoudou smiled and bowed slightly to her. "I'm the one who should be thanking you. My wife and I have had a hard time having children. We always wanted a second child but couldn't do so. Having our first child, Issei, took us three tries." He looked down at the sleeping Issei with a smile. "When Touji told us about the chance to adopt a child whose mother had to give him up we decided that it would be nice for Issei to have a sibling." He shifted Issei so that he was in one arm and took Mitsu as Gabriel handed him over to him. "I'll take him to the car awhile. My wife is waiting for us." With that he walked out the front doors.

Gabriel watched him go outside before turning to Touji with a grim expression as she became serious. "Keep an eye on that child. I had some time to think things over while flying here and could only come up with a few reasons as to why he was given up so easily."

Touji's expression adopted a similar expression to Gabriel's. "He could be in danger right Lady Gabriel?"

Gabriel nodded. "Yes. I do not know why he could be in danger but keep your eyes on him and those around him. I trust the Hyoudou's to take care of him because of your relationship with them but I will investigate into this matter as much as I can. I will keep in touch with whatever I find. I must return to Heaven, I have been away for too long."

Touji nodded. "Farewell Lady Gabriel." He watched her disappear into a cross before turning to walk outside to meet his wife and follow the Hyoudous back to Kuoh. 'Lady Gabriel is going to a lot for this boy. I know she's the kindest person in Heaven but she's going through a lot. I should probably just focus on my task right now. She probably has her reasons.' He said as he walked out, never noticing the gray eyes that had watched them from behind one of the stone columns.

'Be safe… My child. I will watch over and protect you from the shadows as much as I can.'
