Then...I wrote this. ;) I hope at least ONE person out there likes this. But I don't really care...this was just rambled off at high speed to get my ideas down. I don't know if this has been done before, because I don't spend much time in the Jimmy Neutron section. Um... Enjoy?

Your Greatest Invention Ever

Quiet evening shadows have mercilessly claimed the city of Retroville. Silence is the only sound echoing through the room, decorated with pictures and posters of mathemeticians, inventors, scientists and, of course, the all-famous Albert Einstein. The chill of the night, according to my temperature sensors, is cold. But of course, I can't feel it.

Moonlight tumbles across your face. From my position on the floor, I can see you move slightly in your sleep. It's fun to watch you breathe. Breathing isn't something I can do. For that matter, neither is sleeping. You never programmed me to be able to do these things. Yet, you programmed me to be able to think, question, ponder and focus, so naturally I would make an excellent scientist partner. That's was makes me so important.

Unlike your other creations, I can think. I can move freely, without command. You don't need a remote or computer to force me to do things for you. I just do them. It's the feeling of want. I want to do these things for you.

Have you ever stopped to think about that, Jimmy? I can think...I'm different.

I've been with you since day one -- the day you created me. From that second, from the very second I was activated, I knew that I would be different, special. Unique.

I've seen all of your other experiments. All of which, I've noticed, have turned around and became a horrible experience for you and your friends. Have you noticed yet, Jimmy? I've never caused you pain or trouble... I've always been there to help you. I'm your best friend. At least, that's what you always say.

As your best friend, I spend a lot of time with you. I'm always with you when you're inventing things. I always hear you remark when you've created something, that it is your "greatest invention ever". Have you ever honestly stopped to think about that?

Sure, I may not be human...but I still love you, and would never do anything to hurt you. I am the one, the ONLY one, that has succeded your expectations.

Have you noticed yet, Jimmy?
