Arrives

Ever wish you could disappear

A ledge to just jump; escape until

Something nagging at my throat,

Tugging and pulling

Drowning into darkness

Arrives.

The nightfall offers little escape

Try to come into

This horrible world of mine.

I need a relief , a constant dream awakening

Poetry for this kid

Who didn't make it easy.

I long to be alienated until

Unlike me, his In-Crowd, he

Talks the talk and walks the walk

Until a girl like me finally arrives.

Our eyes danced but my heart

It fluttered.

His girl arrived, a junkie in disguise

A cheerleader hides the Crank inside. Torn

up to pieces.

I don't want to stay down

This heavy addiction for the rise

And the drugs And

The slow sinking failing of the falls

He passed me in the hallways today

Looking my way he started to say.

Something that made the darkness,

Eat me alive. That's swell.

Considering the news today.

She was making out with another he

Knew nothing about

Until he showed up unexpectedly Arrived.

At her house, and saw a dude's cheating hands

Up her cheating blouse.
