A/N: This story is being rewritten, because I feel like it needs a proper background, and a good, solid spine. If the prologue is confusing, don't worry, it will make sense in time. If I got the facts wrong about Gallifrey, I'm sorry, I just got started watching Doctor Who about a year ago and I'm shaky on certain things.

Gallifrey, A Very Long Time Ago.

The princess stared into the mirror, her wedding dress very slimming for her figure. The red and gold brought out the color in her eyes, and she set the crown of flowers of gold, white and red on her head; her long hair cascading down her back. Tae did not want to get married, she hated the man she was being forced to marry. She hated her father for casting her best friend out from the palace walls, she hated her mother for standing by. Tae's heart ached and longed for her best friend, a boy named Theta, the love of her life.
"Princess Tae, are you ready?"
A younger sister, Helva, asked. Princess Tae nodded, looking in the mirror one last time before she exited the room. She touched the key that she held so dear, a space-time key from her childhood friend, Theta.
"Theta, where are you?" She whispered, holding back tears.
She walked a long way, her sisters, all thirteen of them, following after her; all in white with red capes to billow behind them. The rest of her family greeted Tae at the door of the Great Hall of Time. Expressionless, Tae stepped in, and a traditional wedding song played as she walked down the isle to the altar of the Great Hall, a slow and steady pace. A tear of anger rolled down Tae's cheek as she made her way to the alter. Her father, The King, was waiting for her, with her husband.

Princess Tae knelt before King Ao, and he nodded briefly.
Princess Taelana Of Gallifrey, with her chocolate brown hair and sapphire blue eyes walked down stood before her new husband. Her husband lovingly took her hand into his and knelt down; kissing it.
"My princess." He murmured, and she nodded once.
"My Prince." she whispered, and her husband smiled, and everyone was so joyous; except for Tae.
But there was one man that was not happy. Forced to watch as the love of his life was so unhappy with her new husband. It angered him. But most of all, it pained him.
It pained him so much. He ran from the corner he hid in from the great hall, fleeing to his TARDIS.

Princess Tae and her new husband spent their wedding night travelling to the princess's favorite planet, Earth. The sand on the shore of her feet felt so good underneath her toes. Her husband gently wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close to him.
"Its a lovely sunset, isn't it?" She asked her husband, and he nodded slightly.
"Well, come on, love. Back to the TARDIS..."
"But...Can't we just stay one more minute? Please? Until the last bit of gold leaves the sky?"
"Until the last bit of gold has left the sky."
Tae wept that night in her own TARDIS, for she knew that would be the last trip to earth forever.

Tae raced to the King's quarters, she had just gotten back from her honeymoon when she found her father was dying. He was in his last incarnation, after all. She ran, faster than she had ever ran before. Flinging open the door, there stood her mother, Queen Hera, and all of her thirteen sisters.
"Father..." Tae whispered, kneeling beside his bed.
"Tae, I bestow my blessing upon you and your house, and may you be fruitful and multiply with your new husband." Tae nodded and held back tears. She forced back the lump in her throat, she wanted to tell her that her and her husband were not compatible when they mated, so they couldn't produce an heir. She had disappointed her father, and now the old man was dying. She couldn't stand it. She ran from the room as soon as he died, and her husband tried to stop her. She ran down the hall to the servant's quarters and out of the entry to the servants quarters. She ran to the Gates of Time, ripping them open and running through them, creating a rip in time. A tear in the fabric of the universe.

Tae ran down the streets, her tears rolling down her face. She came to a stop, running inside the museum. She fled to the TARDIS wing, surprisingly finding her long lost friend, Theta.
"Theta?" Tae asked, and the man turned around, looking shocked, mortified, and relieved.
"Princess Tae...!" Theta yelped, and she clasped her hand over his mouth.
"Shh!" Tae hissed, and she removed her hand from his mouth.
"What are you doing here?!" He asked, and Tae gave him a look.
"I was going to ask the same thing."
"Well, I was going to steal this TARDIS. Go to earth to escape my execution."
"Take me with you." Tae whispered, her sapphire blue eyes filling to the brim with tears.
"Tae...I can't..."
"Please, Theta...please..." Theta looked down, thought about it, and whispered,
"They'll consider you a traitor. You'll never be allowed back. Are you sure you want this?"
"Yes..." Tae swallowed, and Theta reluctantly agreed.
"Susan, my granddaughter is coming with me..." Theta said, and Tae nodded. The TARDIS started up, and they were speeding towards earth, the planet that Tae loved the most.
"Thank you, Theta..."
"You're most welcome, Taelana." He smiled sadly. He watched as the princess left, his two hearts sinking into his shoes.

Tae sat along the shorelines, the waves bowing down and kissing her feet. Tae knew what was coming, and she had felt a shift in the universe. The Doctor had been exiled from Gallifrey, for not only stealing a faulty TARDIS, but helping her escape as well. Hopefully, they saw her as a traitor and this would be her punishment. Another Time Lord was here, Matthew. He had found Tae and offered her a place to stay, and she began to fall in love with him. She saw the Doctor and his granddaughter Susan from time to time, but Tae was happy here. As happy as could be when you're away from home, she guessed. She sat down in the sand, and she let the sun kiss her back.
"Tae?" Matthew asked, sitting down beside her, looking at her.
"Yes?" She muttered, and Matthew sighed softly.
"Will you go out on a date with me?" Matthew tried to use the language that the earthlings used, but to no avail. Matthew was socially awkward to begin with. Tae laughed and said
"Are you asking to be my mate?"
"Yes..." Matthew blushed, and Tae took his hand and said
"Yes, Matthew, I will be your mate..." Smiling, Tae kissed Matthew on the lips and watched the sun go down.

Matthew was pacing the floor. Tae had gone into labor early. He was kicked out of the room, and he hated not being with his wife. Matthew had fallen asleep in the living room, and when he awoke he was greeted by his wife's screams. Matthew sprung up, and then he heard the midwife shuffling around inside the room.
"Matthew," The midwife said, poking her head out of the room. Matthew practically ran to the door, and the midwife let him in. Tae didn't look so well, but she was steady, holding a bundle of blankets. Tae smiled at Matthew and as Matthew came closer to the bed.
"Its a girl..." Tae said disappointingly, and Matthew sprang to his newborn's defense.
"Tae, darling, I don't care if its a boy or girl. All I care about is that you are both safe and happy."
"Matthew, what shall we call her?" Tae asked as her husband took the baby from her, peering down at the little girl, who was asleep. She had her father's dark hair and her mother's pale skin. There was a slight blush in her pale cheeks and her fists were balled up as if she was preparing for a boxing match.
"Aurora...for her Gallifreyan name. For her human name, Allison. Allison Marie Winter."
