Disclaimer: I don't own Gordon Street, Shane Gray, Caitlyn Gellar, any of the characters or Crashed The Wedding by the late Busted.
God, why was I doing this again?
I asked myself as I looked up to see a street sign. "GORDON STREET!" I screamed out, grinning. People who were walking past me stopped and stared at me. "Sorry." I sheepishly grinned and ran off down the street toward the Catholic church.
Why am I running down Gordon Street, you may ask? It all started when my ex-girlfriend Caitlyn Gellar sent me an wedding invite. As soon I recieved this invite, I broke down.
I mean, my only love was getting married. And to who? My best friend. My ex-bandmate, Nate Bishop. Caitlyn Bishop? WHAT. THE. HELL.
Of course, her father probably sent this up and paid for everything. That bastard.
He's always hated me for not getting a 'real' job.
I stopped in front of the church. I sighed, running my hands through my straightened hair.
Even thought I'm against this wedding, I'm so sorry for crashing on her wedding day. I put my ear to the wooden door and I hear the pastor talk.
"If anyone objects to this marriage, please stand up or forever hold your peace." I barged into the chapel, the door slamming open and everyone looking at me. "I object." I hissed seriously, glaring at Nate.
"Shane." She breathless whispered, dropping her bouqet. I smiled at her and her father stood up, angry.
"SHANE GRAY!" He screamed, glaring. I smirked at him. "I love your daughter, sir. And frankly, I don't need your goddamn permission." Her mother sighed and tugged at her father's hand. "David, sit down." She asked quietly.
Mitchie smiled at me. "GO SHANE!" I glanced at Jason who was grinning. Caitlyn sighed and looked at Nate. "I can't do this."
She tore off her veil and let her curly hair down from horrible bun she had it in.
"Shane, I hoped you would come." She smiled at me and ran to me. I held her close to me, smelling her oh-so-familar Cinnamon scent.
"I could have ran away and hid but this is the best thing I ever did." I whispered in her ear and she grinned. "If you did, I would've killed you."
I chuckled and I held her hand. "Let's go." She nodded. "Besides, this stupid dress is SOO not me." I laughed and she giggled.
"Babe, I want you to know....I'm sorry I crashed your wedding." She laughed bitterly and I raised an eyebrow.
"I'm not one for beautiful weddings. Hell, I wanna go to Vegas and get married by Elvis." I smiled and kissed her.
"Whatever." Nate muttered, walking past us.
We smirked and walked out the chapel and down the street.
"Shane?" I looked at her. "Yeah?"
"I'm glad you crashed the wedding." I smiled.
"Yeah, I am too."
-------------
I would've done it with Mitchie and Shane but I didn't think Mitchie could pull off the "I don't like weddings." thing so i used Shaitlyn.
