I have just heard the news about the wonderful Elisabeth Sladen. I'm so sad to hear that this wonderful woman has been taken from us. This is dedicated to her and my thoughts go to her family in this time. Our Sarah Jane. Xx
Sarah Jane: Don't forget me.
The Doctor: Oh Sarah, don't you forget me
Amidst the streets of Ealing stood a house. From the outside it didn't look so grand. It didn't look important, it just pined away on the corner. But in the corner, magic can happen. And here, in this little corner of London, magic had happened. Things you could never believe, things that you could never dream of in a million years. All brought to this quiet suburban street by one woman. And oh it had been marvellous….

The house had stayed empty for a week now. Nobody strode upon its wooden floors, nobody made tea in its kitchen and nobody had called it home. Well, they couldn't. It wasn't right, since that woman, that wonderful…strange…quiet…but wonderful woman had gone. Around these parts, 'gone' was a euphemistic word. It could be assigned to so many things. The word 'gone' had been used so often to describe the absence of Sarah Jane Smith in the past few days. But the malicious gossip had died down and now that the silence had been restored back to the house, remembrance could truly begin. Those who had known her best wept at her passing and allowed their grief to show as a mark of respect to the woman who had enlightened their lives. The respect that such a woman deserved and was duly given. To Sarah.

This is just a short tribute which I wrote on the evening that she passed away. This is my gut feeling as to how we lost a true legend. Hope you enjoy and thank you for reading. I raise a metaphorical glass to Elisabeth Sladen. Never to be forgotten.
