Y'ALL BUCKLE UP CUZ HERE COMES SOME BAD CHRISTMAS FLUFF!

Welp, enjoy :D

Momo hummed quietly along to Rudolph as she stepped slowly down the sidewalks, filled-up shopping bags in one hand and a hot cocoa in the other. Walking was a balancing act during the holidays.

She took a seat on a bench outside a coffee shop, setting down her bags and taking a long sip from her hot cocoa.

She simply sat there for a few minutes, observing the world around her. People gliding along the sidewalk, in and out of shops, weaving their way through the crowd.

That is, until someone caught her eye.

The boy exiting the coffee shop was none other than Todoroki Shouto, her classmate (and one that she held in very high regard, to boot).

"Can I sit here?" he asked, pointing to the seat next to Momo. She hadn't even realized he'd spotted her.

"I-Sure."

They sat in silence for a bit, Jingle Bell Rock blasting in Momo's ears.

"So...What brings you here?" Momo asked tentatively.

"Getting hot cocoa with my sister." Todoroki answered. "Or at least I WAS. But turns out her boyfriend's here too, so I decided to leave them be."

"Ah."

"What about you?"

"I-Um-Just Christmas shopping."

"Already?" Todoroki looked at her quizzically.

"Ah, well, yeah. Better to be prepared, right? It's kind of relaxing in a way." Momo blurted out.

"What're you listening to?" Todoroki asked suddenly.

"Huh? Oh, um...Christmas carols." Momo felt her face growing redder and redder with every word.

"You're already in the holiday spirit." Todoroki observed. He sighed and leaned back, almost sinking into the bench. "How do you do it?"

"I-What?"

"Nothing. I guess I just don't get Christmas."

"Well," Momo began, taking out her earbuds, "when I think of Christmas, I think of the cheerful sound of the songs, the smell of gingerbread cookies, and the feel of the snowflakes brushing your face. But mostly, I imagine receiving a gift so thoughtful and so pleasing that you just have to give one in return.

"Wait, does this even make any sense?" Momo suddenly asked, snapping out of her trance.

"Perfectly."

Momo smiled softly. "Good."

"Yaoyorozu?"

"Yes?"

"Every day feels like Christmas when you smile."

Welp, whether I made you cringe or squeal, hope y'all have some happy holidays!

Side note: the idea for the last line came from an original song called "Festive You" by Sqaishey Quack on YouTube, if you wanted to check that out.

Hhhhhkkkkk Merry Winter!
