Don't own anything.

This is part of a series I decided to write based on the moments between Flack and Angell through season four and five. I decide that if Angell does die during the season finale, then A) I probably will stop watching CSI: NY for a long time unless by some miracle she does come back, and B) I wanted to have this series finished by the season finale so I could write the last one in the series and base it on that episode. I really do hope they don't kill her off.

Jessica Angell leaned back against her couch and sighed, the woman had been caught and arrested and now she was in jail.

She supposed it had been a good day, but her mind kept traveling back to the car.

The flirting between her and Flack in the car while following the suspect.

She remembered how red Flack's cheeks had been when she had accused him of "busting out his game" on her.

She knew she had been smiling too, her grin had been as big as his.

She had noticed him before, around the precinct, who wouldn't?

He was gorgeous and Jess had developed a small crush on him.

She didn't even know he knew who she was until the captain put them together to follow Amber Stanton.

Jess stood up and looked at the clock, it was late and she had the early shift.

She turned off the light and headed to bed.

Flack leaned back into the chair and waited for Danny to get back with the beer.

He must have spaced out because Danny was in front of him waving his hand in front of Flack's face, "Are you okay Flack?"

Flack shrugged, "Ya."

Danny returned to his chair and looked at him, "You sure?"

Flack nodded, "Ya, why?"

Danny grinned, "You keep spacing out, I bet you've barely heard anything I've said all night."

"Sorry. I guess I'm just tired." Flack knew why he was spacing out, it was because of Jessica Angell, and what happened in the car.

She had accused him of "busting out his game" and that accusation had caused him to blush.

He had noticed her around, she was a female cop and a gorgeous one too.

He had been attracted to her and maybe he even had a crush on her.

He hadn't even known that she knew who he was until they had to work together.

Flack looked at his beer then the clock, it was late and he had an early shift.

He stood up, "I'm gonna go. Early shift tomorrow."

Danny nodded, "Okay, see you later."

Flack threw a bill on the table then walked out.

Okay, first one-shot in this series. Because I want to finish this series before the finale, I hope to post a one-shot every two days or so.

Love always, Heavenly...
