Nothing Does Last Forever
"What is wrong with you, Mulder?" I told you only this morning I was heading for the church to pray and light candles for our son William.
"I don't remember Scully. Did you forget I was rather busy this morning with visiting the eye doctor. Since he insisted I come early with his full day of patients at the hospital.
It was at this time that Fox Mulder pulled out his new bifocals to read something that Scully had given to him earlier. It was the latest X Files case in regard to missing blood and organs taken from different hospitals throughout Washington, D.C.
"What's wrong with me is the fact I am older than I was years ago. My entire body is starting to break down from over using it with fighting too many X Files ghosts,The Consortium organization, aliens and most of all my father."
"Hey! What about myself Mulder? All the things I had gone through all for the sake of peace, living forever and trying to find our son and keep him safe from those that are trying to kill him as with yourself."
"And I promised you a long time ago I would protect him no matter where I might be."
"Nothing lasts forever Mulder. We can't no longer protect William because of what he's become. I haven't been able to find my soul in order to tell him I forgive him for all of his wrong doings over the years."
"Our son is the only good thing that has come out of our union as friends, lovers and than finally in marriage. I have nothing more to give Dana.
Scully walks away from him. She gets into her vehicle to head for the Washington, D.C. church to pray. She didn't care just how long she was going to stay. She needed to feel her son, William for where ever he may be at this time.
However for agent Fox Mulder, he left the X files office to investigate the missing blood and organs.
