I'm back! So, here you go! I hope you enjoy this totally fluffy one-shot!

Disclaimer: I don't own this. Sorry, I know it's sad.

To say that vikings weren't good with their emotions was an understatement. Most of them felt if you couldn't kill it or use it to kill something it probably wasn't very useful. Unfortunately, emotions fell under that category.

And while Hiccup was about as non-viking like as you could get that didn't mean he was good with his emotions either. If nothing else - he was worse. Hiccup had spent most of his life feeling completely useless. He was a walking mess. Everything that he touched was destroyed and he tended to make this worse than better.

The village looked down upon him, pitting the village mistake. And without friends, Hiccup had struggled through life trying to prove himself It was a vicious cycle - Hiccup would try, fail, be met with a disapproving frown and repeat!

And then one day he had met Toothless and everything changed. Suddenly, he was smart, kind and caring. Suddenly he was hero, brave even. Suddenly, Hiccup was more than a screw-up. He was a dragon trainer. But the fame that came with that title didn't matter. Only one thing really mattered to Hiccup.

"Hiccup!" He turned toward the call to be greeted by five friendly figures. "Where have you been?" Astrid demanded, "We've been looking all over for you!"

"Just around," Hiccup waved dismissively. He grinned at the girl and looked around. Snotlout was flexing, the twins were arguing and Fishlegs was grinning peacefully. Everyone was there, and nothing (that he knew of) was destroyed, Hiccup mentally checked.

"Come on!" Snotlout shouted, Hookfang stretching up into the sky. "I can't wait to beat you to Dragon Island!"

"You're on!" Tuffnut shouted, yanking his half of the dragon into the sky. Hiccup sighed, watching his friends fly into the sky.

Yes, he wasn't very good with emotions. But he knew, for once all he was was happy. "You coming?" Astrid asked, hovering a few feet in the air.

"Wouldn't miss this for the world." Hiccup grinned.

I hope you enjoyed. Tell me what you think!

Lots of Love,

Gayle
