Hinata had been sitting in the forest crying. She had just over heard Sakura agreeing to be Naruto's girlfriend. She rubbed her eyes of the tears. He's happy and that's all that matters. She repeated these words again and again in her head. She didn't even notice someone had been watching her. She rubbed her eyes from new tears. The person jumped from the tree they were on to the one behind Hinata. The Hyuuga didn't even notice the moments.
"What's wrong, girl?"
She jumped and looked around and then looked up the tree and she saw the siolette of a man in the tree. She turned back around because she was sure it was nobody from Konoha. She sat there and the man stared. He coughed trying to get her attention but she refused him of it.
"You just gunna sit there, girl?"
"Wh-who are you?"
He laughed. "No need of that now. Tell me your name."
"W-why should I tell y-you?"
"I've been sitting in a tree watching you for an hour. You've been crying. Tell me."
"Th-that has nothing to do with my n-name."
"It does if I plan to comfort you."
She stared back at the figure. She sighed and looked away. There was no use fighting it. He was gonig to badger her until she told him. "Hyuuga Hinata"
"A Hyuuga? Interesting. What's wrong?"
"No."
"I'll keep badgering you if you don't."
"Th-then I'll ig-ignore you."
"Then I'll force you to tell me." He jumped down and she looked at him. She screamed and fell off the log she had been sitting on. He just smiled. She began crawling from him.
"Orochimaru." She said under her breath.
He walked over to her and helped her up. "You going to tell me, Hyuuga Hinata?" She just stared at him in fear. "Well?" She snapped out of the fear and began running. He appeared in front of her and caught her. "Now why'd you run?" She stared at him in fear. "Well?"
"Y-you're Orochimaru!" She began to scream but he covered her mouth. She closed her eyes and prepared for the worst but nothing came, not even a kunai to the neck.
"I want to help you. Is that wrong? Now, I'm going to let go of you and your mouth. Promise me not to run and/or scream?" She shook her head agreeing. He let go and she stepped back a few feet. "Now will you tell me?"
"Nar-naruto-kun," tears began welling in her eyes. "He asked Sakura out..." She began crying again and Orochimaru hugged her and she burried her head into his chest.
"Shhhh. I'm here now." She looked up at him and he smiled reassuringly. He bent down and kissed her gently on the lips. Yells sounded into the distance. "The scream came from over here!"
Orochimaru picked Hinata up and began carring to his village. She burried her head into his chest. His shirt was wet from the tears she had shed. He quickly took her into his village, people staring at her. He hissed them away as he carried her into his home. He carried to his bed and laid her on it.
"Don't worry. I won't do anything to you. And I won't let anyone else either." She laid back staring at him. He gently kissed her again and then got into the bed next to her. He held her while whispering into her ear. "I promise you, Hyuuga Hinata, no one will hurt you anymore."
