"Alright, we're here."

"W-wait, this doesn't look like my Earth."

"Thats what it was called?"

"Hold on, I'm gonna check where we are." The boy wearing a dress shirt picked up a metallic looking disc, he pressed a button on the back of the disc, but nothing happened. "Uh-oh." The other two stared at him in confusion. "What do you mean by 'uh-oh,' Nick?" The African-American boy wearing a red hoodie questioned him. Nick looks back at his friend. "The disc is broken, we can't use it anymore, which means we can't go back." Nick stated. The other boy wearing 70s style clothing went on his knees and slammed his fist onto the ground. "NOOOOO! GOD DAMN YOU APES!" Nick face palms himself. "Lincoln, can you calm Dick down and tell him we're not in a Planet of the Apes movie?" Lincoln sighed and walked towards Dick, patting his back.

Nick looks around, realizing they're in front of a school. "Alright, new plan." Nick continued, drawing Lincoln and Dicks attention. "We're gonna have to pretend to be transfer students at this school." Lincoln's eyes lit up. "R-really?!" He ran up to Nick, shaking him. "You're actually serious?!" Nick pushed him off of him, he sighed and then looked at the two. "I know it's surprising for you idiots to hear me say 'let's go to school' even though I think school is a waste of my time. But they most likely have a science lab, and I need to repair the portal disc there anyways." Nick explains. Lincoln jumped up, cheering enthusiastically. Lincoln grabbed Nick and Dick, then started running towards the school.

When they entered the school, the halls were packed with students. Nick groans, "This is one of the reasons why I hate school, too crowded for a genius like me." Lincoln narrows his eyes at him. They looked at the crowd of students, they looked for ways to get passed them. "Ok... we just need to look for the principals office, how about we split up?" Lincoln suggested. Nick shrugs at him, he looked to his side and realized Dick was already gone. "You gotta be kidding me..."

Dick's POV

'Wow, is this a fortress?' I thought to myself. I walked around, looking at my surroundings. I noticed that a lot of people here look like colours from a box of crayons. I saw a girl with pink skin and her hair looked like wet popcorn.

So I continued walking around, until I bumped into this girl with light blue hair and some other shade of blue stripes. (I only know most of the colours in the crayola packages) She looks at me and smiles.

"Heyo, I'm Sonata Dusk. What's yours?" She asked, reaching her hand out to me. I stare at her hand, I then realized she wanted me to shake it. I shook her hand, then looked back at Sonata. "My name is Dick Lasnami... I think..." I scratched my head. She giggled softly, "So tell me about yourself, Dick."

"Well... I can guess how many jelly beans are in a jelly bean jar... even if it's not right. What about you?" I asked.

"Well... I like tacos... and me and my friends sing to get people to do what we want." Sonata stares at me, which makes me feel uncomfortable, in a good way... I think. "What's your favourite time of day?" She asked. "Now." I answered immediately, "what about you?" "A minute ago." She answered.

I started having this weird feeling in my pants... oh never mind, it's just my phone buzzing.

Nick's POV

"Answer Dick, for gods sake." The call was declined again. "You gotta be fu-" I accidentally bumped into something and fell on it... never mind, I fell on 'someone', and that someone is a 'she' with violet and sapphire blue hair with brilliant rose streaks. Her skin colour was violet, which makes me question this earth. Her face was flustered, I immediately stood up and reached my hand out to her. "Sorry about that, umm-" "I-it's Twilight." Twilight stuttered, she took my hand and I pulled her back on her feet. She was shaking nervously in front of me.

"I'm Nick." I introduced. Twilight straightened herself, trying to stay cool. "Nice to meet you Nick." She smiles at me. I just stared at her blankly. "Do you know where the science lab is?" I asked her. I'm just gonna let Lincoln deal with the principal for now, I gotta get the portal disc fixed, and get us the hell outta here. "Yeah, let me show you. Follow me." Twilight started walking, I followed her.

We were walking side by side down the hallway. "So why do you need to go to the science lab?" Twilight asked. "I need to make something to fix something." I answered as we continued walking.

"What are you trying to fix?" She asked.

"None of your business." I answered.

"Do you need help?"

"No."

"This guy is rude." I raised my eyebrow, knowing that voice didn't come from her, but from her backpack. I started staring at her suspiciously. "What was that?" I questioned her. Twilight started shaking nervously, adjusting her backpack. "W-what are you talking about?" She stuttered. I tried to get a closer look at her backpack, but she keeps turning around, trying to face it away from me.

I moved the opposite direction she turned to. I was behind her. I opened the backpack and saw a dog inside. The dog jumped out of the backpack and latched onto my face. I tried yanking it off, but the mutt had a good grip onto my hair. I successfully pulled the pup off me. It stared at me with aggression in its eyes. "The dog is the one that talked, right?" I asked her. Twilight shook her head nervously... she's obviously lying to me.

"I don't like this guy, Twilight." The dog spoke, pointing its paw at me. Twilight sighs, "that is Spike, my talking dog." She introduced.

I gently placed the pup on the floor. "I think I can find the lab myself... I'll see you later I guess..." I start walking away, but she follows me anyways.

Lincoln's POV

"Found the principals office." I said to myself. I inhaled through my nose then exhaled out of my mouth, I entered the office. When I went inside, there was a

woman looking at some sort of file, which blocked her face from my sight.

"Umm..." I looked down at a desk name plate which read 'Principal Celestia'. "... excuse me, Principal Celestia?" She puts the file down, revealing her face to me. Her skin colour was light magentaish grey, and her hair was some other shades of grey and blue.

"Milf..." I muttered to myself. "Pardon?" She questioned. I quickly shook my head at her. "Umm, some friends and I were transferred here and I was wondering if there is some sort of paper to sign or..."

"It's fine. Just give me you and your friends' names and what school you were in before." Principal Celestial said, typing something in the computer. I nodded at her. "Ok, my name is Lincoln Freeman, and the other two are Dick Lasnami and Nick." He answered. Principal Celestial typed in the names in the computer. She looks back at me. "What's Nick's last name?" She asked. I shrug at her, "He doesn't really have a last name, I think..." I scratched the back of my head. Celestial nodded and looked back at the computer. "Just like Rarity." She muttered to herself.

"What School were you in before?" She asked. "We're actually home-schooled." I answered. Celestia nodded and continued typing on the computer keyboard. "Ok." She grabs sheets of papers from her desk drawer and hands them to me. "You and your friends fill these out and hand them to the vice principal by tomorrow." Celestia said. I nodded and took the papers and exited the office.

Nick's POV

"I can find it myself, you know." I said to her. Twilight shakes her head at me. "No, I wanna know what you-"

"HEY, TWI!" Shouted a... pink skinned girl? I'm seriously questioning this earth. The pink girl and four other girls walked towards us, they all notice me and gave me a weird look, especially a purple haired girl with pale skin. She sorta looked familiar. "Who the heck are you?" The rainbow haired girl asked. I raise my eyebrow at her. "Did you seriously say 'heck'?" I asked, crossing my arms at her. The purple haired girl was staring at me weirdly. I look at her. "Why are you staring at me like that?" I asked her.

"Brother?" She asked. I then realize who she is. "R-Rarity?" I stuttered. The girls looked at us with dropped jaws and widened eyes.

"WHAT!?"

Later

"How come we didn't know about this?!" The girl with the cowgirl hat questioned, who I figured out was named Applejack (odd name).

"I'm not dealing with this..." I start walking away until the rainbow haired girl named Rainbow Dash (another odd name), grabbed my shirt and pulled me back. "Jesus! What's with the strong grip?!" I shouted. She glared at me, causing me to shiver. Rainbow Dash looked back at Rarity, still gripping tightly on my shirt. "Since when did you have a brother?" She asked calmly.

Rarity looked uncomfortable, shaking like an animal shivering in the cold outdoors. Rarity gulped and looked at the girls. "He left me at a young age." She answered. The girls gasped then looked back at me with menacing glares. I narrow my eyes at them. "But..." everyone's attention went back to Rarity. "It doesn't mean that I'm mad at him for leaving..." a tear dropped from her cheek, she looked at me and smiled. "I'm just glad he came back." That smile hit me like a spear penetrating through my heart. I smile back at her and stood up. Rainbow Dash finally lets go off me. I clear my throat.

"I'm gonna go, my friends are probably looking for me or either lo-"

"NICK!" I turn around to see Lincoln. He runs up to me with a piece of paper in his hand. He stopped in front of me, gasping for breath. He showed me the paper. "Fill *wheeze* this out." He panted. I took the paper and looked at it, I sigh. "So, we're doing this?" I asked him. Lincoln stands up straight and nodded. He looked at the girls behind then immediately looked back at me. "Since when did you become a chick-magnet?" He asked. I face palm myself. "I was walking with one girl, until the group of girls came up to us." I explained. Lincoln looks at me dumbfounded, he shakes his head and turned around to start walking. As I was about to follow him, Rarity stops me by placing her hand on my shoulder. I look back at her.

"You're coming home, right?" She asked, giving me those puppy eyes girls make to get what they want. I nodded at her. "Yeah." She smiles at me and lets go of me. I followed Lincoln who was already walking.

Nighttime (Nick's POV)

I was at Rarity's house... ahem, I mean our house. Not much has changed, just the wallpaper and furniture. I looked at a family picture of Rarity with mom and dad. I look back at my sister who was in the kitchen. "Hey, Rarity?" I called. "Mhmm?" She poked her head out of the kitchen entrance. "How's mom and dad?" I asked. Her happy expression changes to a sad one, as she goes back to what she was doing. I raised my eyebrow and entered the kitchen.

I looked at Rarity, she was making tea. "You alright, Rare?" I asked. She looked back at me, showing a fake smile. "I-I'm fine." She stammered. I walked towards her. "What's wrong?" I asked. She sighs, looking down at the tea cups. "When you were gone... mom and dad..." she didn't finish her sentence, because of the tears dripping down from her eyes. I was confused, until I realized what she was trying to say. "Oh... I-I'm sorry." Rarity starts wiping the tears from her eyes. "N-No, it's alright." She looks at me. "At least I'm not alone this time." She smiles at me, I smiled back.

The Next Day (General Perspective)

Nick was sitting in the office, waiting for Lincoln and Dick. He notices the two come in. "So how are you two?" Nick asked. Lincoln crossed his arms at him. Dick did the same, not knowing why he is doing it.

"'Figure out where to sleep for tonight' you said. Asshole!" Lincoln shouted, "We had to sleep in the god damn library!" Nick shrugs at the two, "Why the library?" He asked. Lincoln stammered at his question. A girl walked towards us. She has vivid crimson hair with brilliant yellow stripes and her eyes are the colour of light apple green which fits with her light amber skin. She was wearing a black coat with light amber patches which look like they are given to privates in a military, she wore a magenta top with a shimmering sun on it and an orange skirt, she also wore knee-high boots.

"Hello. My name is Sunset Shimmer. I'll be showing you around the school." She introduced, smiling at the three boys. Lincoln's face was flustered and stammered. Sunset gives him a confused look, "Is he OK?" She asked. Nick shrugs at her, "don't worry about him, he's a moron." He stated. Lincoln tries to say something back to him, but sees Sunset looking at him with a smile, making him nervous to speak.

"I'm Dick, and I like butterscotch." Dick introduced.

"I'm Nick. And this nervous wreck is Lincoln." Nick introduced, pointing at Lincoln who was avoiding eye contact with Sunset.

"Nice to meet you all. Lets start with the tour?" She asked. The three nodded.

Later

"And this is the entrance to the auditorium." Sunset said, pointing at a door. She notices a poster on the door. "Oh, and there is going to be a battle of the bands in the school, if you're interested." Nick raised a brow while Lincoln was heart struck and Dick was looking around like a confused child. "Battle of the bands? What is this, School of Rock starring Jack Black?" Nick asked sarcastically. Sunset chuckles at his question, "no, it's just a normal battle of the bands." She answered.

"But wasn't the battle of the bands in France?" Dick asked, making Nick face palm himself. "That's the French Revolution you're talking about, Dick." Nick replied. Sunset couldn't help but giggle at them, "you guys really remind me of people I know." She chuckled, drawing their attention. "Who would those people be?" Nick asked. Sunset's smile changes into a frown, "I-it's nothing important, let's just continue the tou-"

"Are you sure?" Lincoln asked, causing Sunset to look surprised, because he barely spoke during the tour. Lincoln reached his hand out to her, "I didn't properly introduce myself, I'm Lincoln Freeman." He introduced, making Sunset smile again as she took his hand, shaking it. "Sunset Shimmer."

"Alright, let's drop te boy meets girl crap and move on with it?" Nick said. Sunset nodded and stopped shaking Lincoln's hand and lets go. "Yes. I'll show you where the gymnasium is."

Time Passes

Nick, Lincoln, and Dick are sitting on the stairs at the front of the school. "This whole 'school life' this is... not what I expected to be like." Lincoln said, sounding unamused. "School's for idiots, it drags intellectual people away from what's important." Nick added. Dick's stomach grumbles, "I'm hungry..."

Nick looks at the statue at the front of the school. He saw Rarity with her friends who were standing around the statue. He also noticed that Twilight (the girl he met before) was with them as well. Nick's eyes widen when he saw a portal appeared in the statue, seeing Twilight reached her arm in the portal. Nick stood up and start speed walking towards them, causing Lincoln and Dick to follow.

Nick started running toward them as he stopped and stood right behind him. "How the hell did you do that?" Nick questioned loudly, causing the girls to turn around in surprise. "O-Oh, hello brother." Rarity greeted nervously. Nick eyed at the girls while Lincoln and Dick was shocked. Nick walked towards Twilight. "How did you create the portal?" He questioned once more. "I-I." Twilight was stammering. Nick walked towards the statue and started looking at it, he placed his hands on the statue. "Doesn't feel like metal..." he started knocking at it. Twilight looks at him oddly, "what do you mean?"

"Dick, go find a sledge hammer, I'm gonna bash this thing open."

"NO!" The girls shouted in unison. Nick looks back at the girls, but had his gaze on Twilight. "Then give me an explanation." He demanded. Twilight sighs in defeat, "I'm a pony from a different world called Equestria." She confessed. Nick looked annoyed, "are you actually f*ing screwing with me right now?" He asked angrily. The girls gasp as Lincoln's was dropped. "I thought this was a G rated film..." Dick exclaimed.

"I-It's true!" Twilight shot back.

"Oh really? Well that must mean I'm actually a younger Doc Brown with alcohol issues!" Twilight looked enraged, like steam might shoot out of her ears. "Then look in the portal then, Mr. Smarty pants!" She shouted. Nick narrows his eyes and turned to the portal in the statue. He took s peek inside and was shocked to see a world filled with colourful ponies. Nick pulled his head out of the portal and turned to Twilight, she had her arms crossed and glares at him. "Believe me now?" She asked. Nick was embarrassed and nodded while scratching his head.
